I am looking at purchasing a 2nd hand 2008 Barina sedan and while I have searched for reviews online (not so great) was wondering if any owners could provide me with their experience. Would you recommend and did you encounter any issues?

Cheap cheap small cars. Personally if I absolutely had to get a Korean car I'd go the legit Korean brand and built rather than Australian brand outsourced built in Korea but I think the 2nd hand Barina market is actually quite affordable from memory.
With no real experience I'd probably say that also with ease of access to parts traditionally a lot easier with the Japanese and Korean cars.

@spackbace: Ha, I've got you there, the Colorado isn't that bad, sure wouldn't be my recommendation in the class, but it's no astra.
@brendanm: We run the Colorado at work. They aren't as good as the HiLux but are better appointed.
We use them off-road a lot and our operators don't whinge about them.

Looking to purchase or someone is going to give it to you? If you are going to use your own money, don’t. Unless it is very cheap, avoid it. And if it is cheap, there is a reason for it, so avoid.
