  • First of all it's a Kogan (Bogan). Second of all it's a stick vacuum with a cord.

Meh! Nah! Need I say more?

    • +5

But what do you expect for $35?

      • +2

        1 year warranty

or just get bigw/kmart version at $29

      • Stick vacuums are stick form factor because it's convenient to use as a cordless alliance. For a corded one, more powerful ones with larger capacities exist. The one indicated below by @phunkydude is a good example.

  • Anyone having this and can share the experience? 450w is it strong enough?

    • +2

I bought one recently and found it very lightweight and easy to use, didn't have any issues and comes with a bunch of attachments, but like people have said it doesn't have amazing suction, but for 35 thats kind of expected, good for a small to medium unit.

      • Thank you for the sharing :)

It's only 80W suction power according to the specs.

Must be a really inefficient motor.

      • reminds me of my ex

You dated a very inefficient motor?

    • get the 600w bigw/kmart version at $29

Pricing is up and down like a yoyo - Product Review entry shows mixed reviews. 80W suction power.

There's also this 600W @ $29, with yoyo pricing - Product Review entry. 80W suction power.

I have this Kmart contraption, and it's awesome, though you need to empty it frequently.

I consider designs where there's limited distance between the motor and the floor as being superior.

For a cordless there's this @ $79, which is pretty low compared to the yoyo, but there's only 1 review. 35W suction power - gee that sounds low.

    Kogan, shonky award winner.

  • $10 delivery to Brisbane. This is pretty tempting…
    -edit
The post above shows this is the normal price. Super dodgy

    • or buy the Kmart/BigW one for $6 less and don't pay any delivery

  • switch between handheld and corded ..? does this mean u can use this as cordless vacuum as well?

    • Seems like it just means you can detach the long nose from it and use it, but still with a cord.

    • No.

  • Got mine today, it's actually fairly good, comparing to my few year old 2200w vac it's nearly as powerful suction wise

  • In saying that I wouldn't want to pay anymore than ~50 for it, can tell it's cheaply made
