Wanted to do this with the kid but the offer is seasonal with blackout dates. Just came back on. 2 x 60 second flights for $49 which is about half the usual cost. Gold Coast doesn’t have the weekday / weekend rates at the moment like some of the major city branches.

It's 2x 60 seconds, so a whopping 2 minutes. Maybe you go up, hover for 2 minutes and then land?
Took my son for his 8th birthday, he absolutely loved it.
I paid $90 for the two "flights", additional flights could be purchased for $20 once there.
I think this is a great price for a gift for special event.

If this is anything like the one I did in New Zealand, it sucks. No way near as fun as they make it look in the video. On your first session, I doubt you will be hovering in the air for much longer than a couple of seconds without the instructors help. This is maybe good for kids and that's all.
So it sucks because you weren't good at it??
