PC Suggestions for Average Use

Hi !
Can someone suggest a place to buy a desktop computer?
I just moved to Australia last month and ignorant of the various tech shops here. Somebody suggested Scorptec and the good guys. I’m a doctor.

I’m basically looking for a computer that I can use for MS Office, web browsing, and Netflix.
Also plan to learn some coding when I finally settle in here. Won’t be playing any heavy duty games

Decided against buying a laptop cos I already have an iPad + BT keyboard

Not yet decided if I want a proper desktop or an ‘All-in-one’ PC.

Any suggestions regarding specs, and where to buy from would be welcome.

And, of course, I am a bit price sensitive since I’ve just moved here recently, and am just building my savings.

Thanks in advance

For a doctor, I would prescribe some Scorptec followed by one dose of asking the sales assistant. Seriously though, there are a multitude of online retailers like ozbargain favourite Techfast where you can see the specs yourself and compare prices or read the many examples of advice here, whirlpool forums, etc. There is no shortage of computer buying advice on the internet.

    • Yes Kahn, there’s a multitude of advice on the internet. Honestly I can’t process all that info right now in the midst of settling down in my new job and giving assessments etc.So I thought I’d be smart and ask smarter people on this forum !
      Thanks for replying!
