4 fast cores VS 6 slower cores
newer AAA titles that utilize more than 4 cores will benefit from i5
else this 9100f is still plenty fast enough for rx570 at 1080p

@Danstar: not much difference on ram speed, it's more for higher memory bandwidth from 2 sticks = dual channel
don't need to upgrade motherboard as you can't overclock intel non-k cpu

The 2600 likely wouldn't be faster then the 9100f, but it'll likely stutter less in more modern games.

r5-2600 w/ 6cores 12threads is a better cpu for future as more games utilize more cores, and you can use it for other productivity workloads, or stream your game live
and if you use the techfast upgrade option to b350/b450 motherboard, then you can overclock the 2600 CPU later if need be when upgrading graphic cards in 2-3 years time while still using the same system (note proper cooling required for overclocking entry-level motherboard)
Be careful buying computers from these guys. I know many may have come across no issues, but I suggested my girlfriend buy a computer from them and she came across several issues:
1. Extremely slow delivery - apparently they were out of stock, but still charged her card
2. She wanted to swap orders as it was extremely slow and she was not allowed to do so even though the computer had not even been shipper
3. The computer arrived faulty. It restarts every few minutes and she's been wasting time and effort to get it sorted with them
Extremely unprofessional with issues. They should simply send a new computer and compensate her for all the hassle.

Issue is being sorted, pc is being returned, and pc with same spec is being shipped out. All good so far. I didn't have to deal with the issue FYI in case your reading comprehension matches your IQ =)
