Currently building a new PC for 4K video editing.
Was searching around for some decent RAM (and a decent amount of it)
This specific memory I saw yesterday was over $700 and I placed it in my cart to save it for when I eventually got around to sorting the build out.
Logged in today, price was way lower than I expected - $127 cheaper than the equivalent lesser 3200MHz kit.

Currently at time of posting, there's only 1 left in stock (sorry, wish I got to it earlier), but it says there's more on the way, hopefully keeping the same deal.

That's the price for DDR4-3333. Most likely Hynix M-die. My experience with DDR4-3200 version is mixed (on AMD Ryzen 3xxx platform).
The title needs to change coz. you won't get the DDR4-3600 kit with that price.

When I actually clicked the DDR4-3600 option, the price changed to $1097.76, yeah right.. as if it is worth spending that much on RAM…. That's enough to build another Ryzen 3xxx based system.

My bad… edited title. I did mean 3333MHz.
The model number was correct, I just had a moment when I was selecting all the different versions comparing them.

    Looks like it's 3333mhz, not 3600

    • Updated. :)

Can I run minesweeper with this?

    • Only if you don't overclock the RAM if you have a Ryzen setup. :-)
I would still check the QVL due to this is a 4 DIMMs kit.

Upvote for the profile pic. Long live Goldeneye 64!

The game that changed everything! Did you see they are releasing a PC version of the game for the 25th anniversary (or 20th, can't remember which one is coming up.) Apparently the gameplay is going to be exactly the same, including freaking Odd Job, but the graphics are going to be AAA worthy. I'm pretty excited!

      • Ah yeah, Goldeneye 25, I'm hyped for that too actually. I'm following that dev on twitter (@007GoldenEye25).
        Definitely got my attention.

I doubt an AMD system could take this much RAM.

    Who wants to go halves?

    • This may not be a good idea if one module becomes faulty and Kingston requests all four modules to be returned.

  • Christ. I am not spending 600 dollars on RAM!

    • It's a bit much compared to what I would put in a typical rig, I agree.
But still a bargain compared to its original price and, I'm just giving a little something back to this community that pretty much helps me every day finding something cool for Non-RRP. :)
I'm also the perfect example of that niche idiot who purchased this due to needing to do some 4K editing.

  • Thanks, Should be enough for a few Chrome tabs to open at the same time.
