I have one of these at home and its worked flawlessly over the past few months. Most 'complaints' that i've read online are in regards to the cooker not coming up to pressure, but this is usually user error (not lining up the vents on top, which you'd think was common sense, but apparently not for some people).

I do line up the vents but I still, sometimes, get the problem. Apparently a good way is to push down the lid after turning it. The problem, for me, generally happens when I’ve used it to cook something, released the pressure to add other ingredients, and bring it up to pressure again. The main issue I have is it can be difficult to get the smell of something out of the seals. I would be reluctant to use it for curries unless I had a separate seal.

Have been looking for this for a while. Is this the best price or should I wait till Christmas sale?

    • Me too, I've been watching for a while. This is an excellent price - I don't think we'll get cheaper in the next few months (at best it might get down to $200, but I'm happy to bet $15.10 now rather than wait for that price)

    • Woolworths has a 10% bonus on DJs gift cards. Wonder if it stacks with this?

Gonna give it a try tomorrow.

    Can it do Medium ?

We could all hold hands and see who it contacts.

  • The description indicates it has a ceramic coated bowl but other parts are steel. Is the bowl steel or aluminium with a ceramic coating?
