Uber doesn't the restaurants do. Because they have to. Uber takes 35% commission on every order. If restaurants didn't charge more they'd make no money on an order. Bye bye business.

Agree though. Order direct with the restaurant if you're going to pick up. This is just Uber trying to make more money.
