I'll explain what counts as a new member on DoorDash for these promotions in this table below..
I got a lot of questions asked via OzB DMs last time I posted something like this. Hopefully it helps!

| Mobile App | When using the DoorDash Australia mobile app, either on the android version or apple version, you will only be considered a new customer once. This is because DoorDash uses mechanisms to detect whether you have used promotions in the past (they log what we call, device ID). Now a Device ID can be reset and changed, however this is a lengthy process, and I wouldn't really recommend doing this as it takes a lot of time for such a small minor discount. If you would like to use the mobile app, you will need to reset your mobile phone and change the Apple ID / Samsung ID / Android ID / Google Email address. After you do so, when signing up, you will require a new mobile phone number which has never been used on DoorDash, a new email address & new credit / debit card payment details. On occasions, and very likely with the mobile app, if you use an address which you've delivered food to, you may not count as an eligible member. The conditions for this promotion are very vague, so I would stay away from this option. |
| Browser (Private Session / Incognito mode, Chrome) | I would use this option over the mobile app, as you only need a new private session each time you use / sign up to DoorDash. Using this option, you will only require usage of your mobile data, or reset your Wifi router to change your IP Address, you will also require a new mobile number which has never been used for verification on DoorDash, and a new email address & new payment method. Using a different address than the one you usually use (like your neighbours) has been a viable option. This is to avoid DoorDash revoking your eligibility to use this promotion code. You do not need to fear that DoorDash will track your device ID like using the app, as you will be using a new private session browser every time you use a new account. |
