Spotted this in the Clearance section of New Balance. Fresh Foam Veniz for $50 + postage. Shipping rate from New Balance is usually $10 Aus-Wide, or free delivery when you spend $100 or more (i.e. 2 pairs). US 8 to US 11.5 are available — seems to have lots of pairs.

You probably won't find much info on Fresh Foam Veniz on review sites, and it's on sale in many places (Just Sport $59.95 + postage), Amazon AU $76.72 delivered, etc). RunRepeat only gives it a score of 85 "good". However it's in fact the re-release of the OG Fresh Foam Zante v1 back in 2014 that's light weight (226g mens US9) & sufficient cushioning. See this review from The Ginger Runner.

I have been running in Zante v3 & v4 over the last 2 years, but most reviews said that these aren't as good as the OG. Could be just nostalgic from those runners, but I might give this a try. Now deciding whether 1 or 2 pairs.

Save your money super uncomfortable. Never again if you are from ASICS

    • Like Scetcher shoes, any foam shoes are light but super uncomfortable.

      • Is this like free run

I always get two pairs when they are priced at $50, to get free shipping šŸ˜€

  • May be better to grab the Groupon voucher if you are planning to buy two pairs?

      Bummer.

  • Got two. Always enjoyed fresh foam range from new balance for running. Must have gone through 20+ pairs.

    • What's the tread like? Looks pretty flat in the photos and being in Melbourne the paths can get wet often….

It's not trail shoes but I have no problem running in rain on the pavement w/ Zante v3 or v4. They have similar rubber one-piece outsole.

      • No problem running on wet bitumen or concrete.

  • Fresh Foam Zante v2 was the best pair of shoe I have worn.

  • Got mine delivered yesterday. Quite out-dated look (too much overlay) but it's a re-release after all.
