Are you suggesting that they are not made with leather, as claimed?

        • Who me? My guess is they'd be smelly if they're leather..Pee Uuu!

Wait a minute..you have to give THEM the $33.83? Oh sorry, no deal.

I don't consider US size 6.5 as "large"

    • Say that to an oompa loompa

    • I wouldn't even consider US 14 as particularly large. I struggle to find US 18 shoes for my son.

      • How tall and how old is your son?
My 12 year old is on size 11

        • Good luck. My son was about that shoe size at 11. He's now 15 and 6'6".

          • @banana365: Oh ok
            He is now 5'11"
Hopefully he will stop growing tall at some stage

@docians: He's reached the self feeding stage, you've no hope of slowing him down.

This type of formal shoe-cum-sandal are great and very practical in the summer for dementia sufferers who've forgotten how to tie shoe-laces and where regular sandals would keep coming off their feet.

I wish people would adjust their thinking a little before commenting as "looks" aren't always the prime concern.

Come on we're just having a bit of a larf. I agree looks aren't always the prime concern - though often they are. By the way, just because someone has dementia it doesn't mean you can give them any old rubbish to wear, let's be sensitive about this. There are many decent styles of footwear available without laces which should be manageable to those in need of support. I say this as a dementia sufferer myself. Now, what were we talking about?

    • Wet blanket.

At least you wouldn't remember who bought them for you.

  • "Mens"?

    • I'd bet my wife's cat's life that the model in the photo is female.

Remember the good old days when OP used to respond to comments

  • Thanks OP. I bought a pair to look schmick with my shorts and long socks.
