  • Price?

    • Thanks you. Still editing. $10.
KFC probably got word of it.

      • How are they compared to popcorn chicken? Flavour-wise and grammage pricing/chicken ratio?

  • $10 delivered too :)

    • +3

How did you get it for $10 delivered? Did you order other stuff too?

      • By what someone else mentioned below, looks like some sort of 'free deliv' promo

    How big is each piece?

    • Not sure. The look bigger than popcorn chicken

      • +5

Depends how big the bucket in the picture is.

That might be a Coles collectable bucket…

        • Funny thing mum saw a Coles Basket that had the word "Free" in the text next to it (Current catalogue in mail). She can't read full English so asked me I said "It's the mini basket toy, free with purchase of a pack of chocolates!" - so she was disappointed.
At least she knows the word FREE - good on ya mum!

    • Guessing 7g, closest I could find in their nutrition info:

      Spicy
      Chicken
      Kicker Bites

For those wondering about size, I've snapped the below pic for you ($1 coin for reference). I personally think they're tastier than other options out there (definitely a spicier kick).

      • …mmmm. deep fried 'stuff' in an unnattractive corrugated cardboard box…must resist /s

      • Thanks for the pic +1

Is that the tables outside the front of Dominos at Currimundi?

        • Nope, at Domino’s HQ

      • So about $50 dollars worth :)

      • Is it meant to be soft and mushy I was hoping crunchy and fresh but mine came out like soft cotton balls.

  • They also have Southern Fried Chicken pieces 5PK for $6.45 ($5.95 without sauce).

  • 40 pieces of chicken bites is $10 in my local.. so just about 25% off

    • Technically it would be a 25% bonus and a 17.6% discount.

As 50 pieces at normal price, using linear project would be $12.5.
      $2.5 discount on $12.5 = .176

Can you really call this stuff chicken though … its flour containing some chicken …

Have they developed a test that can detect such low levels of chicken?

      • +1

They can dust for chicken now.

  • Do they serve it with any type of sauce?
Can see myself getting a case of dry mouth after so many.

Can see myself getting a case of dry mouth after so many.

That is what beer was invented for…

    • You have to buy your own sauce which costs 50 cents each per packet and packet is small.

As an example I bought 3 packets separately after I experienced the same thing dry mouth and used all 3 and still had half of them chicken to go so probably need 4 or 5 packets depending on how generous you are with each dipping.

The dipping sauce flavours I was shown was:

      • aioli sauce
      • ranch sauce
      • crap I just forgot the last one but maybe it was tomato or barbecue sauce one sec let me check the ordering website
      • It was tomato, ranch and aioli sauces to choose from.

On the website says $0.60 but in-store it was $0.50

  • If you aren't ordering other stuff with this (for free delivery) and have Uber Eats free delivery for the month, it is $12 on Uber Eats delivered.

50 pieces? Do workers have to count?

    • +2

i remembered i purchase chicken mcbites from mcd $2 for 10 pieces drive thru
but i only received 9 pcs… would love to drive back and asked for the missing pieces, but can't be bothered…

      • Emp might have popped/ dropped one :P (no offence, jus kidding)

    • -2

      …can they even count???

    • Ideally they should be getting it in packs of 50

      • But all that packaging wastage.. I am all for bulk packaging especially when it makes sense and saves on landfill and excess packaging.

        • Packaging not necessarily go to land fill, it can be recyclable / bio-degradable

          • @sancrumble: I know but worst case scenario it ends up where it shouldn't be.

Otherwise we would not see it anywhere at all.

Thousands of years of now we will solve this problem but for now the best we can do is minimize the damage unless we foresee us somehow vaporizing all of it somehow in the future and getting back to square one aka a zero waste environment with no waste at all 100% fully reused recycled and recombobulated into the nether world.

Lol ok I went a bit sci fi fantasy there but you get my drift.

  • DODGY AF. I ordered it, took 15 minutes longer at the store for pickup than reported by the website when i ordered it according to the online tracker. But also when i got home, luckily i counted the chicken pieces, i got 40 even though i bought the 50 for $10 …WOW!

Was it also soft and kind of underwhelming to you?

Mine were not what I has hoped for aka crunchy with some real flavour spices and a bit of bite.. it felt like really low quality chicken nuggets shoved in cheap soggy batter with zero taste at all…I had to force myself to finish it and the dipping sauces were not great either.

Gonna have to say domino's $10 value mega chicken bites deal is not that good at all.

Would rather get a foot long at subway (pizza melt is so good) or a kebab instead for that money.

I hope I am the exception and the bites were just maybe badly cooked Orr sitting in the warmer for too long but yeah stick with KFC popcorn chicken if you have to get it.

      • Mine wasnt crunchy, it was soft, but i was more fussed about being ripped off. What was underwhelming to me was the size of the "mega box" I had imagined a much larger box with larger pieces of chicken.
