This deal expires on Wednesday, 30th of October, 2019 or until stocks run out - the last time we did a deal like this on OzBargain, we sold out in under 24 hours.

Update: Our Perth warehouse is sold out of these digital radios. If you are from WA and would like one of these radios, please open a Livechat window or call our customer support line on 1300 000 500 and tell them you are from WA and you would like your digital radio to be sent via Australia Post from Sydney. They'll understand what you mean and get your order sent. Apologies to our West Australian customers as there's a bug on our site that doesn't allow for certain products to be purchasable if they are out of stock in WA. This bug surfacted after we recently switched all small package deliveries in WA away from AP to our own network of delivery vans.

Notes:

All orders are eligible for free delivery where applicable - simply enter your postcode at the top of the website to check if you are eligible for free delivery.

    Sweet, happy birthday 🎂

edit: just compared prices online and damn this is a pretty good deal for this unit

    • I know, I bought this 3 weeks ago from Officeworks at $80-odd! Devo!

  • I can confirm this is a good product and price

OP no one will worry about missing out on this deal. This thing isnt gonna fly off the shelves.

  • Reviews are "outstanding"..
    Bought 2..

    • reviews are 2.8/5 on appliance online

      • Two of those say it was given for free!

  • Thanks, just bought one.

No delivery to PO Box, that's a big NO from me.
Tried talking to the online help and she disconnected the chat.
    LOL, great service right there!

Appliances Online customer support is non-existent. I arranged for a TV to be delivered AFTER a specific date when I would be at home. I was told "no problem". And, of course, it was delivered before the agreed date when no-one was at home! Not impressed AO.

      • I am sorry that this happened to you, if you don't mind, could you PM me your sales order and/or sales invoice number?
I'd like to look into what happened into your service.

    • Apologies that we can't deliver to P.O. Boxes.
However, much more concerned with the person who disconnected from the chat.
Do you mind PMing me the details of the chat?

  • the last time we did a deal like this on OzBargain,

dang, got reminded i paid $188 for the vacuum

  • Will this be shipped using regular post since it is a small item? Seems weird that it asked to confirm a delivery day ..

    • We're moving most of our deliveries for small appliances to our own people in our own vans. So far we're delivering small packages in NSW and WA. Our NPS when using Australia Post is 55, our NPS when using our own vans is 80+.

We hope to use our own vans for small packages across Australia before too long.

I wonder why there's no AM radio on these.

I jUst use an old android phone. Tune-in radio, google podcasts so much more useful.

    • Yes, I miss AM radio settings. My old Dick Smith DAB also had AM - sometimes the reception was a bit crackly but often the equivalent DAB didn't come through at all. Sadly it expired.

Surely everyone has a phone that plays radio. Seems redundant.

  • not available in perth ???

    • Hi Rakeem, I'm sorting this out as I type. Apparently Perth has the smallest allocation of stock. We try to avoid using Australia Post but we might end up enabling AP and send these out from NSW (where we have the most stock).

Just tried to buy one and apparently
“This product is not available in your location”
Can someone please tell me when Australia Post and/or Couriers etc stopped delivering to WA? I mean, I know we’re the biggest state, but our post code is metro, it’s not like we’re on the Nullabor.
BTW, if I was in NSW I could have one- I checked 😕

      Hi Laninchris,

      I'm sorting this out.
Our Perth allocation was the smallest and we sold out there already.
It's not AP or couriers that have stopped delivering - Perth is the second state (after NSW) where we have been trialling the use of own vans for small package deliveries (instead of Australia Post). What's happened here is there is no more stock in our Perth warehouse so you're getting that message. I'm looking at re-enabling Australia Post so we can get these radios sent out to you from NSW warehouse ASAP.
      Apologies for the inconvenience.

      Hi again Laninchris,

We have come up with a bandaid solution for now.

If you would like this digital radio, you can livechat/call up our customer support line on 1300 000 500 and let them know you'd like this digital radio to be posted from Sydney via Australia Post and they'll be able to fulfil your order.

Apologies for the inconvenience, we found a bug that only arose after we switched the delivery of small packages away from AP to our vans - we can't switch these small package deliveries to AP on the website, so we have to do it manually in the backend. Our devs are looking into the issue now.

      • Thank you for the update, and the effort that you’ve put into figuring out why it happened 😊
I will try and call later today, but may not make it unfortunately- had school/sport carnival commitments this morning so have to work back, then will be flat out with homework/dinner/bed routine…
(I’m still trying to figure out HOW any of us shopped, back in the days before online shopping 😱- no idea how my Mum coped with four of us 🤣)
