I think this may be an all time low according to the camels.

Been keeping an eye on the 2000i and 3000i air purifiers for a few months. I’ve since purchased the Phillips 1000i but this seems like a great deal.

  • Purifies spaces up to 98 m² in just 6 minutes. Advanced HEPA and Active Carbon filters capture 99.97 percent of particles as small as 0.003 microns, including dust, allergens, and pet dander, providing superior protection against pollutants and aerosols.
  • AI-powered system adapts to your environment, considering room size and air quality. Scans air 1000x per second, adjusts speed automatically for optimal purification, and offers three manual speed options, including Turbo and Sleep modes
  • Enjoy undisturbed sleep with ultra-quiet Sleep Mode, operating at just 15 dB. The auto-ambient lighting adjusts display brightness based on room conditions, ensuring a restful night without distractions
  • Long-lasting HEPA and Active Carbon filters offer up to 3 years of use. Smart reminders ensure timely replacements, maintaining peak performance without the hassle of manual checks
  • Compatible with Alexa and Google Home for seamless voice control.

  • I see a code for $10 more off - P10OFF - bringing it to $239. This is a discontinued product though.

  • 3000i was $277 back in April. FYI.

    • And it's quite a significantly better unit than the 2000i.

      • +2

I thought the main differences between the 3000i and 2000i is:
        - CADR (m^3/h): 520 vs 380
        - gas sensor vs no gas sensor

Apart from that, the functions and air purification capabilities are identical, aren't they?

Then the replacement filter cost is $72 vs $119.

        Am I missing anything?

        • You answered your own question. They're not identical.

  • +4

Would getting replacement filter a problem further down the track now that this model has been discontinued?

    • Also interested, since I have one that will need a replacement and not keen to fork out $120

      • You replace them every 3 years. If you look up the choice magazine comparison the Phillips models are the lowest cost per year to replace the filters (of the highly rated ones). The top rated one - IonMax+ Aire - costs $720 a year to replace the filter which is just insane.

  • The filters for these are damn expensive man

  • +1

Bought this on the last sale, really happy with the purchase. It says the filter can last up to 3 years if maintained, so it’s not too bad. I also bought 2 replacement filters from Amazon when the price went down around ~$79.

    • Damn. The camels have failed me. Never saw that discount on filters.

Have had one with original filter, used every night for 3 years

    • *The surface area of active carbon layer is as large as 24 football fields.

Sounds insane… That's almost 515km in linear length!??

  • Anyone else had issue with the filter reset not working? I bought a new filter for my 3000i and pressed the power and light bulb for 3 seconds but it does nothing

  • Anyone know what is the equivalent from Phillips for this model since it has been discontinued?
