My opinion (might be useful if you're making up your mind):

X-T3 ($300) - this is good, the X-T3 is basically the best Fuji camera right now and this discount makes it extremely good value compared to other alternatives from other brands.

X-Pro2 ($300) - this is okay, but I expected more given the X-Pro3 is around the corner and the X-Pro2 is a pretty old camera by now. I wouldn't buy one at this discount.

X100F ($300) - this is pretty good - pushes the price close to $1000 which I think is what the price of the X100F really should be as a secondary camera more than a primary camera. I would buy one at this price point.

X-H1 ($150) - really disappointing, I'd go with the X-T3. The only real benefit of the X-H1 right now is IBIS. I wouldn't buy.

    • X-Pro3 hands-on are already being published and it's an interesting one lol. I don't know a lot will buy that one.

      • Yeah, I think there's a market for that sort of camera, but that's the type of camera the X-Pro line was always aiming to be. I think Fuji already has their X-T line as their standard flagship.

    • Thanks. Disappointed about the camera or cashback for the x-h1?

      • X-H1 is technically their flagship camera above the X-T3. But the X-T3 is better in (almost) every way except for in body stabilisation, which the X-T3 lacks.

    • Great summary, any recommended lenses from the list above for X-T3?

    • Good summary. How about X-T30?

If you can wait for xmas/boxing day sales, this stacks very well.

    • Yep especially with the X-T3, I predict this will go on sale around $1500 for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Which brings it down to an incredible $1200. And they are going to be dumping the XH-1's soon too, which will come down to around the same.

      • Yeh so tempting. I don't think I need the upgrade from an X-T2 though. Not sure I'd see much of a difference.

  • Save some people doing cost research on the X-T3…
Currently the cheapest Aust store on EBay after PATRON20 discount is $1979, after the cashback $1679: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fujifilm-X-T3-Black-Body/1926974…
Cheapest Aust store online outside eBay is $1898, after cash back $1598 plus post: https://www.georges.com.au/fujifilm-x-t3-mirrorless-digital-…
Or gray import for $1588.83: https://www.t-dimension.com/au/fujifilm-x-t3-body-silver.htm…

    • +2

      No cashback on grey imports.

      • I know hence did not calculate the cash back price in there like the first two. I put that in as a comparison of the lowest prices of the various options.

    • +2

Would this one be an available Australian Store Online for $1868

      https://www.camerapro.com.au/fujifilm-x-t3-mirrorless-camera…

Bringing price to $1568 after cashback

      • Go figure, cheaper to buy from an Aust camera store than after 20% off on EBay. These 15-20% off selected sellers promotions are losing credibility fast. More often I am sending these EBay marketing emails straight to Trash without opening them.

  • Oh man I wish Fuji would announce the X-H2, if it can resolve all my annoyances about he X-H1 it'd become my main camera in a heartbeat

  • Is this active? The link to the promotion details doesn't work

  • anyone else here who thinks the xpro 3 is a fail?

    • Technically, it has all the latest Fujifilm technologies so would not be any worse than their other top end models. I like the no frill screen, retro look and range finder-ish features, which differentiate it from the mass market.

    • It's no longer targeted at the mass market, go for the X-T3 if you just want a good camera IMO.

  • More than happy that the cashback will be applied to the X-H1, especially if I can find it at around the $1500 with grip and batteries at one of the participating retailers. Despite the doom and gloom of many, this is exactly the fuji I have been waiting for. Have loved the X-T series, but my thick fingers have been desperate for a slightly chunkier grip, and the IBIS is a godsend for the style I am into. Best thing for me is the wealth of opinion being anti X-H1, and consequently the prices have been slashed. Awesome :)

    • PM if find great prices for this and i will consider.

    • I don't think that people are against the X-H1, but it's more that it's basically an X-T2 with a slightly bigger body and IBIS. It's behind the X-T3 in terms of tech and they're almost the same in price.

  • Does anyone know if the X-T3 cashback will work if bought with kit lens? Or is this only compatible with body only….

    • I'm pretty sure yes. It will work if you bought it with a kit lens.

  • No 35mm f1.4? Also X-H1 should have a $300 cashback to really move stock.

    • yes agree, need $300 for the xh1 and then it's a buy

  • The link is not working.

  • The link is back online.

  • I bought xt3 body only for $1870. After $300 cash back it will be $1570.

Is this a good deal or should I have waited until Black Friday and Cyber Monday for better deals?

I have 3 days to return the camera for Change of mind.

    • It's a good deal, keep it.

      • Thanks. I will

  • Just bought X-T3 for $1700. With cashback came down to $1400.

Georges Sydney. I also used Amex cashback $50 from Georges. I reckon it’ll go down further nearer to Black Friday - but I also feel like stock will start thinning out as well so bit the bullet.

    • Amazing deal.
      Congratulations.

Do you know if Georges does price guarantee?

      • No idea. But I believe my Amex does - so if they drop it to 1200 next week I won’t be too mad. Lol.

  • Is there a list of participating retailers? Couldn't find any in the T&Cs, but it wouldn't be the first thing I looked right past (especially if you ask my wife)

  • targeting a xh1 at $1500 with grip BEFORE cashback, any finds appreciated
