Men's sandals - What brands?

Hi,

I haven't bought a pair of sandals in years so not sure what brands I should be looking at. I want something I can walk around in while on holidays not just for round the house usage. Ideally I need some arch support.

Is Birkenstock the best for this purpose? Im thinking a pair with a strap around the heel would be more suitable than slides.

      More than a few years ago I got birkenstocks for a fiji holiday. My feet took a couple days to adjust but super comfortable.

        I’ve got a pair of Milano Birkenstocks and they are so comfortable. Walked the whole of Europe in them in July, stung at first but then could not take them off.
        I bought them from The Iconic.

    Also recommend Birkenstock, hated them at first, felt like they were cutting into my feet, it was quite painful. But I slapped some inserts for shoes on top and kept wearing them, about a month or two later they had adjusted/changed completely and become perfect, probably the most comfortable footwear other than some nice sneakers I've ever worn.

    I owned a pair of birkenstock once and but they just made my feet really sweaty so I went back to wearing thongs.

    Birkenstocks are probably the best sandals in the market comfort wise. Try the Arizona model.

      Do you ever find they slip off while walking around? I'd prefer something with a strap round the back

        They're usually pretty secure to casually walk around in. You can tighten the two straps, that should help.

    Birkenstock. The older they get the more comfy they become. Their soles can be replaced and can even be rebuilt if the corks are falling apart.
