3D NAND Technology for Enhanced Reliability and Power Efficiency.
Applying the advanced 3D NAND flash, Ace A55 features higher reliability and better power efficiency than traditional SSDs equipped with 2D NAND flash. The A55 offers improved endurance and longer battery life that you're able to work longer without frequently recharge your laptop.
High Transfer Speeds for Fast Start Up.
Powered by high quality controller and original synchronous NAND flash, the A55 delivers incredibly high transfer speeds that enable short boot time, fast application loading and quick file processing.
SLC Cache Technology for Performance Boost and Longer Lifespan.
The A55 especially applies the ”SLC Cache technology” that allows all data to be written in the SLC portion first and leads to higher peak writing performance. In addition, the technology can reduce write amplification and thus offer better endurance and longer lifespan of the SSD.
Multiple Techniques Supported
The A55 is one of the lightest and thinnest SSD of its kind yet it is shock- and vibration-proof since it contains no moving parts. Furthermore, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring system and ECC technology are equipped to promise higher data transmission safety.

3 years warranty (For warranty issues please contact Umart)

Mod: No need to write hot deal, cold deal, big deal, little deal etc in title.

  • Does this SSD have a DRAM Cache?

    • The A55 also uses “DRAM buffer cache” to improve overall performance and to reduce write amplification on the TLC portion. This leads to enhanced endurance and a longer lifespan of the SSD.

      • I can’t find anything to support it has DDR and below contradicts it, in one paragraph?

        Quoted from the manufacturers site:

        “Internal Auto-Copy Technology

The Ace A55's auto-copy technology allows automatic copy operations from the SLC cache to the TLC blocks inside the NAND without using the controller or DDR. This supports higher efficiency by reducing the controller's and DRAM's workload.”

Most review sites state the SM2258XT which is DRAMless.

        Maybe you meant SLC buffer?

        • He is probably referring to the tiny amount of SRAM built into the controller itself.

  • is that a umart rep or a sillycon power?

    • silicon power rep here.

hi would you like to explain why the amazon.au store pricing is so bad?

hi unfortunately i cant answer your question because i dont control the prices for both umart and amazon au. the only thing i can do is update and share the most recent sale price for our products :)

Can the controller the 1TB uses be confirmed?

One Amazon review with photos shows that it uses a SM2258XT controller which is DRAM-less.

  • Overall review is positive. 4.5 out 5 star with 592 review. https://www.amazon.com/product-reviews/B07B4G19X3

    • can you confirm what controller is in the Silicon Power 1TB 3D NAND A55 SATA 3 SSD

    • how does the controllers handle situations where the write cycles are exceeded, particularly in the MBR or partition tables? is the data still at least accessible as read-only or does the whole thing just abruptly die like other SSD's and we lose all data?

  • How does this product compare to a Samsung EVO 860 or a Crucial MX500?
