  Hi mods, this is the third post in less than a week with the thumbnail item different to the posting item. The posting says “from $8.99” or something that is far cheaper in comparison to the thumbnail item. People (at least me) looking at the feed thinks that the item in the thumbnail relates to the listing item. But after looking at the posting details, the item in thumbnail will be At least 2-3 times pricier than the main listed item. This is misleading, cause the thumbnail is for a reason (relates to the item in the main listed item?).

  What are the posting rules around posts with “prices from” in the title?

  Anyone have one of these dashcams? Can't trust those YouTube reviews as they are often supplied in exchange for a favorable review.

  2K 30fps or FHD 60fps which would you get and why.

    I have the VA-VD005 2K dash cam.

    The good:

    • Good picture quality with wide field of view, but not as good as the VIOFO A119 V2 contrary to a YT review I saw
    • Excellent recorded audio quality
    • The suction mount is excellent, the camera is magnetically attached to the mount for easy removal
    • The app is regularly updated, though I haven't noticed any bugs

    The bad:

    • Its 1080p 60fps mode is actually 30fps with frames doubled
    • Extremely slow to transfer videos over Wi-Fi at around 1MB/s; a one minute 1440p 30fps file takes about 2 minutes to transfer to my phone or tablet

    The mediocre:

    • No button on the cam to manually turn it on/off even though it has a built in battery, which means no Wi-Fi without USB power
    • The cam uses space on the microSD card to save a lower quality version of the recorded videos for direct playback through the app; only viewable in full quality after transfer to my phone
    • There has been not a single firmware update during my 11 month ownership

    Overall I'm happy with it for the $50 I paid.
