  • This is the 18V and NOT the 54V. would be nice if they had the 54v on special :) Thanks for this thou.

18v for garden tool is weak as

    • my Ryobi 18v line trimmer is more than enough for my small garden

This is not your average 18V line trimmer. I got one in the promotion Bunnings had a couple months ago and it is quite powerful. No need to go over the same spot twice, no matter what the grass type is.

  • This is super light weight if anyone wants to know. The 54v range of dewalt rarely have more then 10% off during sales.

  • Any way to use PayPal to buy this? I have balance…

    • It says in-store only. Can't you deposit your Paypal balance to your bank account?

  • Seems pricey for an 18V. I always find myself looking at dewalt posts (I have a flexvolt drill/battery) on Ozb then deciding they are asking WAY too much.

At this price I could be buying an Ego. Or saving money and buying an Ozito (newer model has plastic line rather than plastic blades)

  • Has anybody got the 54v Snipper - how powerful are they?

    • Good replacement for a petrol if you have a couple of batteries.

  • This is cheaper than Makita's brushless 18V line trimmer skin!

18v tools have more than enough power for residential use.

I have 18v AEG garden tools (Lawn mower, blower, and line trimmer) and couldn't be happier. It mows down Sir Walter Buffallo like a lawn mower mowing down grass.

  • I have this exact model, its fine for residential trimming. If you live on acreage, of course, you wouldn't hit this. If anyone has a question let me know.

  • 1 box left at seven hills (nsw) $199. In isle with dewalt stuff.
