I stumbled upon this store on Monday walking through DFO South Wharf, I believe its the old Borders store. All books and DVDs were $5, ignore the prices on the website.
They have heaps of books, not too many DVDS, they are mainly wrestling and music titles.
I only mention possible multiple locations as I have no idea if the other stores on their site have $5 books and DVDs.
Walked past one at Hornsby Westfield beside The Reject Shop (top level) earlier. All books $5 as well, from what I could remember.
One of these has opened up at the old Angus and Robertson store at Victoria Gardens shopping centre Richmond. All books again $5, range was interesting, mostly average novels. Don't even bother looking for cookbooks unless you want very generic compilations. Lots of wrestling DVDs though.
Similar offering at the old A&R Forest Hill outlet (May be different company but similar offer. Books even had old A&R prices so they probably bought their leftover stock). Have never seen as many customers in there as now!
Also at old Camberwell A&R store (Dirt Cheap Books moved in there). $5 books. Shelves are full of a big variety of books and lots of customers. Shows money can still be made in physical book stores for the smart players.
Just opened at Greensborough. All books $5. Some good titles.
