Can you earn Cashback from Amazon when paying via gift card?

    • Yes

My last 2 transactions with gift cards didn't track

Just did this through shopback recently… wish Cashrewards would come out with the deals first, prefer them to get my money

Cashrewards is playing follow the leader at the moment (in general). It feels this way to me as I am going through Shopback more often.

Same, shopback seems to be tracking better for me.

I feel CR offers are copycat from SB offer wise, wish they could come up with their own ideas

CashRewards only picked up their ball last couple of years when I prob had a membership with then for a decade.

Good to see some competition in Australia

  • No digital giftcards?

If I do click and collect, can I pick them up faster than 3-4 days?

    • Probably not.

I ordered Sat, arrived y’day (Melb).

Thanks! AusPost is sold out of $100 eBay cards but there's $50 in stock still. Great for Christmas!

    • Weird , they held all during the other Mob's promo .

    • how many gift cards can we use in 1 transaction? cos lets say I order a $1000 phone, can I use 20 x $50 Ebay gift cards??

      • I think max u can use 8 or 9 giftcards per transaction on eBay.

        • -1

Limit is based on amount not number of gift cards used

  • If I purchase 2 3x50 eBay gift cards in two transactions, do I have to call Auspost to unlock the gift cards?

    • +2

I'm pretty sure regardless of what you order you need to call them to activate/unlock them.

      • It says you need to call if over $200

        • Ok I must be wrong. I asked this question last time when I spoke on the phone to the activation staff and I thought they said they did it for all gift card purchases.

  • I want BP, no BP

  • Do amazon gift card balance have an expiry after activation?

    • From the description: "Amazon.com.au Gift Cards carry no fees and expire 10 years from the date of issuance."

Better get in quick, $100 cards are sold out, $50 cards still available.

  • Does anyone know if the Westfield giftcards sold by Austpost can be used outside of Westfield shopping centres? In the past I have used a gold Westfield eftpos XS Giftcard at retailers not in a westfield shopping centre, but not sure if the red ones on the austpost site are the same.

    • I don't see the attraction of losing 1% with offering of 5% off Ebay and Amazon cards in play .

If churner's can't figure how to get value from that , huge %'s are being lost .

  • Try to click through CR site to AusPost website but the CR in the FireFox tool bar didn't turn green indicating no tracking?? Should I proceed to buy GCs from AusPost with the CR logo in the toolbar inactive? I am worry that CR will not honor the cashback… any suggestions?

  • I just realised "Philatelic Bureau" is the entity which sends out the gift cards. I've been wondering where mine are which I ordered in late October, and then I used AusPost website to follow tracking numbers and found out it's coming tomorrow!
