  • It would be good to mention that the extra pack in either case is only 4 for $14. Other than that it seems a great price for those who don't need the charger.

      TY - Updated now

      • Wow, very fast :). One more question out of sheer curiosity. How much of the price is donated to clean up Australia?

        • 5 cents per battery (Product image details the donation to Clean Up Australia by Sanyo)

  • Great deal, considering these are the 2nd gen eneloops

  • Keep in mind, based on previous deals posted, you will wait a minimum of 2 weeks to get your items.

    • Admittedly - Yes. There were some(not all)annoying hurdles(both ends)….All were rectified as quick as humanly possible.

    • Not true… had mine within a week of ordering.

    • I got mine very quickly

  • Had a question. Does one need a special charger for the eneloops
or can one use a normal battery chargers (the ones for NiMH)?

  • Also, i'm looking for some decent aaa bateries, do these look good? http://junglejumble.com.au/sanyo-eneloop-4x-aaa-nimh-recharg…

I've already got a NiMH charger btw.

  • +5

Eneloops are the best rechargeables, mine are over 3g years old and still hold the rated 2000 mah

  • Good price for local stock, I've only seen cheaper from Korean ebay sellers (and they arrived flat).

    • +3

      Cause they were fake

    • -1

Were they fake? Because I'm looking at these Korean eBay items right now. Charger and 8 AA for a little under $29.

  • What's the discharge rate for these like? I bought some Duracell AA 2650mAh a long while ago, which are just plain awful, they lose their charge so quickly. The Duracell AAA I have are fine though. Never used Sanyo before.

    • +2

What you have are standard rechargeables, the Sanyos are LSD (Low Self Discharge) so they retain up to 75% charged if not used for up to 3 years.

      http://www.eneloop.info/home/performance-details/self-discha…

I've stocked up on LSD batteries so there will be no issues of 'grabbing the spare batteries only to find out they have discharged completely while sitting in the cupboard'.

      • So the product does hold its charge well in real life usage? I really hate it when companies advertise something, only to find it false after usage. If it is true, then I'll start stocking up on new rechargeables :)

        • +1

          They sure do.
We put them in our cameras over 6 months ago and they are still very lively.
They were not charged before we put them in either, was straight out of the packet.
Normal rechargeables were always flat whenever we wanted to use a camera, they are a total waste of money.
Another top quality product from the very underrated Sanyo!

How about a combination deal? 1 pack of AA's and 1 of AAA's for $30? Tried adding a pack of each and the cart and showed $35.90. If it was $30, I would've snapped it up. I already have the charger which included 4 AA's. Now I need a few more AA's but not as many AAA's!

  • Pretty good. I've gotten genuine 4 packs for $HK85 ($AU10) in Hong Kong back when they were $AU20 a pack at Dicksmith.

    • It's selling for around $10 in US as well. But this is no doubt the best deal in Australia.

  • Great deal. Good prices and the free shipping makes it awesome.

  • This is rated 800mAh. Is it still cheap?

    • From their site… ""Sanyo Eneloop 8x AA NiMH 1500 CYCLE IMPROVED 3 Rechargeable Battery -2000mAh""

Picked up a charger with four AAs and four extra AAAs for $35.95 good deal thanks.

I have an old Energized NiMH/NiCd 9v charger. Will this work with these?

  • +1
  • ordered, thanks!

THere are the new BLack eneloop as well… Not sure if they have come out here yet… Very high mah

    • +1

Not to end of the month. 2400maH

      • Good for how many recharges though?

        • Hi GeeWhizz,

From what I could find re black eneloops:

          • Product – Nickel-Metal Hydride Rechargeable Battery
          • Product Name – XX(Double X)
          • Product Number – HR-3UWX-4BP(4-unit pack)
          • Nominal Voltage – 1.2V
          • Rating Capacity (Typ.) – 2,500mAh
          • Rating Capacity (min.) – 2,400mAh
          • Charging / Discharging Cycles : Up to 500 Times
          • Self-discharge : 80% Capacity After 6 Months / 75% Capacity After 1 Years
          • Size : AA (mignon) x 4pcs
          • Dimensions — 14.35mm (diameter) x 50.4mm (height)
          • Weight — Approx. 30g

So they are great for high drain appliances (kids toys/cameras etc) but with only 500 charge cycles and a faster discharge rate, not so appealing for things like wall clocks/lcd clocks etc…

July 21 from what I can find.

  • Question for Rep:
    re: AA 4x pack
For the additional options - C and D adaptors that also come with 2 batteries, how many adaptors do you get.
I would like to think that you get 2 adaptors with the two batteries but do not want to assume anything.

    • Hi SR, Unfortunately the C/D adapters are no longer available for Sanyo may have to look for 3rd party alternatives. Products have been deleted

  • Comment for Rep:

I paid by Paypal, but when I returned to finalise the order, an error message was displayed from Paypal - Successful transaction already completed for this token.

I have mailed [email protected] with the details of the order and the payment - if this isn't the best email for customer service, please let me know.

    Thanks

    BJ

Hi BJ, TY. All came through ok, I've emailed back the address provided for you to confirm.

      • Thanks! Received reply, and confirmed. All good.

  • When does this offer expire?

    • +1

Hi Snuke, No issues atm. If you can get your order in by Wednesday 27/7 should be fine.

  • +1

I ordered a charger with 4xAA and an extra pack for 4xAA for $32.90 all up on Tuesday and received them on Friday. Super happy - thanks rep!

  • -3

Is this 8 packs or a pack of 8?

    • +1

Obviously it is for 8 batteries. If it was for 8 packs, then it would be $30 for 32 batteries, which makes no sense since these are genuine 1500 cycle Eneloops.

  • Im still waiting for my order from the last deal with the charger!

  • I want to put an order through but am a bit concerned cos the [New Customer - Add Address function] does not work. Tried in Firefox 5 and IE 8.
I get a script error ans Save does not do much, except for clearing the form.

    Script error -
    Line: 454
Error: 'null' is null or not an object

Would my Paypal address be used?

    • Hi N_P TY for your order. All delivery details came through OK and payment confirmed.

      • +1

        Hi JJ,
thanks for your assistance and your confirmation of my order.

  • +1

Good batteries, been using for awhile now and pretty happy, nice deal.

  • Eneloops are MINT.

I seriously wish all traditional NIMH were killed-off, and replaced with these. Instead of just being good for some tasks, these badboy's are great in every aspect. When they're FINALLY more common, the price will come down.

I put them in my bluetooth/wireless keyb/mouse combos, Wii controllers… everything I can. Purchase price appears higher than traditional NIMH's, but having to KEEP recharging them is such waste, and a pain in the hole.

Grab a stack of Eneloops, and know you'll ALWAYS have juice!

  • Got my shipping confirmation today which is quick compared to what I was expecting.

  • shipping confirmation arrived today. that was late. but i received them in the mail today. awesome!

  • I ordered on 25th and still waiting for the shipping confirmation!

    • I ordered on 24th, still nothing here.

  • Anyone else still waiting for there's?
I paid on the 31st July with PayPal and still haven't got anything.
Sent JJ an E-Mail and haven't had a reply. May have to open a PayPal dispute.
