  When you say high quality materials, does that include the standard basic “chipboard/cardboard-like” bases under the fabric? Had a few of those, and they disintegrate VERY quickly.. hoping to hear it’s something different

      Cheers. So to confirm, it’s not that chipboard appearance-like “wood”, that an average adult can easily snap with minimal effort? Just want to avoid buying another one of those products that end up in landfill within the first 6 months..

  I bought one that looks identical from another site, and the cardboard rolls they use for the cylinders where not solid enough for my cats and my cats broke it in the first 30 mins after set up and fell off awkwardly nearly hurting himself. Buying somethings cheap is not always a good idea.

  That one is almost entirely identical to a drop shipped one from China that I got off eBay for about $120. The sisal has been torn off, the cylinders are hollow inside and get incredibly loose, one of the ramps has broken off it's hinge, and the other ramp won't stay put because of how loose the supporting cylinder is. If this one is the same as the other ones on eBay/aliexpress, the bases are about 2-3cm thick with cheap fabric overlay and the weak points of these are the supporting cylinder struts rather than the chipboard panels.

  Wasn't worth bothering with the complaint for a refund and the hassle of sending it back. If you can make your own with solid wood from bunnings, the structural integrity would be much better, especially if you have large or heavy cats like we do.
