Qantas Price Promise (Price Match) - Don't Waste Your Time

I have attempted to use Qantas Price Promise twice. Both times - no luck.

There are lots of rules to follow - they will not approve the price match if you missed any one of them. Even worse, the price match request must be submitted by 11:59pm of the day you booked your ticket. If you happen to miss any details (such as time stamp) - too bad, it won't work for you.

Should you still want to go ahead, make sure you
- file the claim by 11:59pm of the day
- read the qantas price promise website very carefully, and make sure you have go through their checklist

I would not book it with Qantas - would book via cheaper Australian websites like Aunt Betty, or get Flight Center to price match.

    i used the Qantas price promise for my last trip
    no dramas, difference paid a few weeks after my trip.
    just follow the checklist and there will be no problems.

    You should know the T&Cs before requesting the price promise
    it's not that hard to get a screenshot with a time stamp and submit the request the same day

    I’ve done it twice and it worked both times. Got the cheaper price and got the 1000 points.

    I used it twice.

    First time - worked fine.
    Second time - silence. Have tried contacting multiple times, no response.
