  • Good price. Haven't seen cheaper than this

  • Reckon it'll be cheaper on black friday?

    • +1

      Unlikely

    • Can you please let me know the Black Friday date in Aus?

      • November 29. I'm pretty sure it falls on the day after Thanksgiving every year.

        • Thanks, I googled and had same response, however, many websites as advertising discount under with 11.11 , don’t know why
          Thanks again

          • @tryingtohelp: 11.11 is also Singles' Day, mostly celebrated in chinese speaking countries. Yes there should be huge sales on most chinese websites, however I don't know why if any local stores do celebrate the same?

  • it's up to 118 now
    edit: NVM MY BAD

Would this be suitable for a ryzen build?

    • Yep

      • If this is suitable for a Ryzen, can anyone kindly advise what is the difference between the OP listed one, versus the other ones on the drop down menu with AMD at the end of the Mhz. Thanks

        • Those "AMD/Ryzen" kits just mean they have been verified to run at the rated speeds on the Ryzen platform. It doesn't necessarily mean that anything that else won't work.

In the early iterations of Ryzen, there were issues with being able to run higher speed ram at the rated speed. This isn't as big of an issue now with bios updates, especially with the 3rd generation which I believe should support 3200MHz at least without issues.

You can check a list of qualified vendor ram (QVL) on the motherboard manufacturer's website, under the support page of the specific model. If the RAM SKU is listed, you're good to go basically.

I have this kit in a 1600x. Works fine.

    • Works but be prepared to do some tweaking. XMP at 3200MHz wouldnt run with my gigabyte X570 Aorus Pro, had to manually set all settings before I got it stable.

  • Thanks, Copped.

  • Should put timings in the title or description - 16-18-18-36

The Amazon 'summary' description lists it as 16 GB DDR3 2400 lol

    • You have to pick the speed in the drop down box

    • Saw that someone had managed to get this running CAS14 at 3200 in the reviews

      • I'd probably be buying these if I needed ram. Cursed purchase about a year ago some flare-x for $$$$$

  • Is it just me or is it showing 119 now?

    • You have to select Amazon US as the seller for this price.

      • O right missed that thanks.

  • Price has returned to regular price of $130.
