If these were 2025 I would jump on it. Have heaps of 2032

  • If visiting IKEA anyway they have 8 for $5. I probably just would have gone with Amazon otherwise

the ikea crap button batteries do not last long at all! on car keys didn't even last a month!

      • This kind of batteries were DOA quite often, including Panasonic brand. Last 5 I bought, 1 was dead (I always tested with multitester before putting it on a car remote, worth the hassle - for scale, u just put it to test, lol)

        • U really think the remote would have worked or it wouldnt have complained if the batteries were doa?

Your multimeter will NOT pick up any fault with these ikea crap even if u load tested it. Its more to do with their sheety batt chem composition.

@id: When I said “doa” was like the voltage was under 3V. Your remote will still work but the battery is near dead as I know it. The good battery of this should hover around 3-3.3V. Unlike u, I believe my multi more than branding, as they probably come from the same factory in China anyway. But everyone has their own believe, at least, I never have my remote battery died under 2 yrs whatever brand I use (maybe I’m just lucky too :)

  • Thanks I just had to replace my cmos battery with a new battery that was about 3 years out of date (seems to be working fine though).

    Price is now $6.99

    Jacked price

  • Showing as $6.99 to me.

  • Bought them for $6.99. This is great for me as almost all my car + garage remotes use these.

Same old story with Amazon, as soon as the system detects high demand the price automatically spikes.

  • Theres so many fakes around. How do you know these are kosher?

  • +4

Slightly higher price but 10 pieces ( 2x5 packs) for $8.79 - if anyone is interested

  • Small items like batteries usually have massive markups. Thankyou people for sharing these deal.

There are lots on eBay at similar price, posted from Australia (thin so $1 post), but are any genuine?

I'll buy a pack and sacrifice one to test the capacity, but which to choose?

I've not been impressed with the Ikea ones, but still better than bulk generic Chinese.

  • Perfect for those watch/key shopping centre booths that charge $12 for one.

  • Back at $4.50 again

    • Just remember it's a different seller.

  • Got this shitty stock from ozstock and it expired in July.
