Very good price on the HERO7 white, price will possibly be matched by Amazon on the weekend but will be great for those with JB Hifi gift cards or just want it from a physical store.

  Not gonna neg this deal but imo, the Hero7 Silver at $236 (20% off $295 TGG eBay) was a better value buy. Maybe wait for another similar deal?

    My first foray into GoPro was this model as a xmas pressie for a teenage boy, i thought it was cool and good enough for a first action cam.

    Now i'm considering my very first one, i was going to pull the plug on this one, can you tell me why the silver might be a good option for me?

      The only differences I’m aware of are the Silver shoots 4K video while the White shoots 2K and the Silver has a GPS sensor for geo-tagging.
      Imo the 4K vid alone makes the $36 extra more than worth it, $70 you might need to reconsider.
