These are decent if you can get one fault free.. had two returned already and waiting on lucky number 3.

    • what was the fault?

DELL has crazy poor QC these days. Just make sure you keep sending them back until you get one you're happy with (1st 30 days).

        • was seeing if there was a common fault or if it's just general bad QC.

You've kinda put me off because if it happens after 30 days, who knows how generous their exchange policy is.

        • After having the my woke issusd m3800 and Precision 5510 secriced about 8 times I would never buy a Dell. Absolute garbage quality control. Also the black finish looks filthy all the time with constant finger print smudges. Now using a surface book 2 15 which is much better built with no real issues

Coil Whine - Louder than acceptable/tolerable.
Base Structure not straight thus wobbles in regular laptop mode.

        • coil whine still?

It's been like 5 years and they still haven't figured out how to fix this?

          • @lostn: Coil whine, dead pixels, dying speakers, crackling speakers, useless base screws coming out, over heating/blue screens/shutdowns due to poor thermal paste/cooling.

            • @KLoNe: I think I'll pass on this year's model then. Hopefully next year's is improved. And maybe they put in an OLED screen.

It looked so sleek too. Shame.

    • Was this on a XPS 7390?

      • No, it's on this very 2 in 1 10th Gen Intel variant.

    • I thought Dell was reliable as well, but having two Latitude which is their business grade model fail in a year, I probably will look at other brands in future. However, their service for warranty purpose is good, but I wouldn't buy a laptop from them unless it comes with 3 years warranty.

    UHD models cost 3.8k. Yikes.

  • 6% cashback from shopback too. I'm holding out hope for better sales though.

    • Sale extended until 14th of November.

      • Actually, my mistake. Not extended.

  • This is actually still running, you just need to select "For Work" instead of home.

  • Ordered this version at this price with 11% cashback.
Not a bad price for an amazing machine.
32BG RAM would have been nice, but i didnt want the UHD screen.
Battery life and no scaling FTW.
