Hi OzBargain,

End of financial deals swarming in. Talk of the town is currently the lack of VRAM for entry to mid-range graphics cards, the RX 9060 XT fills this gap incredibly. Fantastic price point for 16GBs of VRAM that is highly demanded and requested to have at least the capability to game on 1440P. With 32GBs of RAM for the base model as a highly demanded base requirement for gaming nowadays. Absolute lowest price in Australia for this configuration and on launch!

Would be great if these reps stopped spamming the "other deals" and setting off alerts for 9800 and 7800x3d's. they arent decently priced

      • +13

I don't think it's spam, but I understand where you come from. I sincerely apologise for the annoyance, it was most definitely not my intention. For deals we put a list of active deals that may be more suited for others if the deal on the post isn't suitable. If it's possible, I recommend having alerts for deal titles only.

Our 7800X3D with 5070 Ti deal is currently the lowest price in Australia for its configuration - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/905564. Understably some others may be a bit out of date as IT is a fast-moving industry.

          • +12

@jbird84: Not all OzBargain users unfortunately have alerts set up for these specific keywords. It is useful for individuals who may want quick navigation to other live deals that may be more suited and haven't come across them yet. This was feedback given previously by others at the time as many would ask if there were other deals available for XYZ GPU or CPU.

Please block our store and deals in future, I am sorry I can't be of any service to you. I hope in future we can be of service, the keywords that are setting off your alerts in our deals are unfortunately unavoidable. I can see for other deals not by us that they also have an other deals section with the keywords that are setting off your alerts.

          • +11

            @jbird84:

No, sorry, I'm not going to change my alerts

            Then stop crying.

        • A bit surprised that linked 7800x3d deal hasn't dropped a little since then due to all the 5070ti deals that have been popping up lately. Any of that going to come through to a EOFYs version of the linked deal?

    • +23

You should be using subscriptions to product tags, 7800x3d and 9800x3d, not search alerts. To avoid false alerts.

More info: Product Subscription - Get Notifications on Deals Tagged with Specific Products.

      • The problem with that is people don't always tag posts so you have to wait until a mod does and then you've possibly already missed the deal.
Another is that it doesn't work for complete builds as they never seem to get tagged with their components.

    • +3

      You don't think the 7800XT + 7800X3D for $1798 is a good deal?

      • -4

No, it's a 2x fan 300w gpu ,3000m/s ssd, plus 7800X3D with cheapest case and 650w sliver power supply, motherboard is very bad too, 2 memory slots no front USB C. It will cost you 20% more than parts' RRP when you choose the upgrade options, that's the trick they are making money from you.

        • +6

Do you expect them to run their business at a loss?

          • @slipstreamexpress: I was just saying it’s not a good deal, or a deal at all. Do you expect the cost of their parts are MSRP ?

        • GPU & CPU are $1450 retail, given you get everything else for $350 I think it's a great deal. Very capable for enthusiast or casual gamers who want decent frame rates.

  • +2

Get rid of the other deals list on your post. Especially annoying since half of them are already sold out and not active anyway.

    • +6

Thank you for pointing this out, doing now.

Edit: I've removed some outdated deals and truly out of stock/expired ones. Others that show as expired are still live, OzBargain will mark them out of stock after a period of time.

      • +1

For deals that are marked as expired on OzBargain (but are still actually live), the best thing to do is to remove the expiry on the deal. If you cannot do that yourself, report those deals to a moderator using the reporting function on the deal itself and they can un-expire them. If I clicked one of your linked deals in your deal description and saw they were marked on OzBargain as expired, I would automatically assume they were expired and would not actually proceed over to your website.

OzBargain will automatically expire deals with no expiry date 45 days after posting, unless:

        • You add an expiry date to the post, or

        • You ask a moderator to mark the deal as Long Running. In this case, the deal will never expire, so you would need to mark the deal yourself as expired once the deal is actually expired / out of stock on your end.

        • +3

Thank you, will do that from now on. I can see that all deals listed on this post are now marked as long running by a moderator.

  • At least the 9060 XT has Linux support going for it.

    • even a 5070 TI has linux support I cant' wait till valve released steam OS though for the masses you can litually run any steam game on steam OS, i haven't' found anything I can't run. Dumping windows finally will be so good.

      • how's the web experience on SteamOS?

        • +1

you can install chrome or firefox seems to be the same didnt' notice any problems.

      • Has SteamOS overcome its incompatibility with Games that use kernel-level anti-cheat tech like Destiny 2?

        • +1

not sure don't play destiny 2. all the games I play seem to work fine. Proton makes everything compatible even the ones that aren't' supported and its fully integrated into steam. That's why games that are labeled not supposed like GTA V are actually supported with proton. I haven't tried to play a game like Rust on the steam deck mainly because rust should never be played with a controller. But I will give it a try one of these days, when i finally get through the LAST OF US Part 2!!! It surprised me when i could play forza horizon 4 on it though :D since its a Microsoft game.

      • Gamescope still isn’t functional on Nvidia cards, and even Valve has stated that only AMD GPUs are validated to work with SteamOS so far.
So it will be a while until we get a proper console-like OS (not console-friendly UIs) working on Nvidia GPUs.
But yes, if you’re planning on running Windows or desktop Linux as your personal computer OS, the RTX 5070 Ti is definitely a better buy right now.

  • any thunderbolt or usb 4 ports on this one?

    • +2

Unfortunately not for entry level motherboards.

  • -2

moving in or forming a large or dense group.

  • -5

If you guys have a look on the PC Part Picker table posted, 7500F for $299 alone has already been enough for their profit.

    1434-1318=116
Only $116 price difference, barely no difference after deducting the overpriced CPU.

We could all build a better set for the same price. I don't know how good the service is, so it might worth the price if Nebula provides really good customer service

    • +2

I don't understand what you're implying. Do you mean that our CPU cost is $299-$116? I wish this were the case, as then I would be able to lower the price even further for OzBargain. If you are able to build a similar system at a lower price, I recommend you do that. I will need to take learnings from it and hopefully find areas where we can improve to reduce cost even further to pass onto OzBargain. This is truly rock bottom and the lowest price in Australia as of now.

      • -2

Good enough compared with those using WD Green or Crucial E100/P3 drive, Gigabyte B650M Gaming WiFi mobo, and 5600MT DDR5 RAM, lol

  • Your link in the body that says "Introducing the Pyra - SAPPHIRE RX 9060 XT 16GB (BRAND MAY VARY)", is actually linked to the Lyra

    • Sorry fixed…

  • I'm looking at buying two of these for my kids, they have 1440p monitors. Is this sort of the sweet spot for price/performance? Is there any component that absolutely should be upgraded?

    • It's a great starter system for 1440P gaming, an all round good system. If you need more GPU grunt, I'd recommend another system however for this price point, this is the best.

  • +3

I had ordered a 9060 XT from somewhere else to build my own, then I saw this deal pop up!
Cancelled the GPU and placed an order for this instead.
    Hits the spot for me

    • +1

      ❤️

    • I noticed this listing has more positive votes for the same system compared to the one you linked. Is that because of the seller’s reputation on OzBargain, or is there some difference between the two builds that I’m not seeing?

Your link has the better price plus PSU, so I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything important before I decide.

    • Brought the system you linked thanks !

  • Hey guys!

Your case description for Lian Li DAN-A3 Wood mATX - Black shows that MUST HAVE P LUS OR MORTAR MOTHERB OARD TO SUPPORT USB C).

But on PC picker it shows that the msi bomber in this build is compatible without needing to spend an extra $100 for another motherboard. Can you please confirm?

    Thanks in advance.

    • MSI B650M Bomber does not have the Type-E slot for front panel USB-C

    • It isn't, the B650M BOMBER doesn't support front USB-C connections for cases. Case and fitment will work fine however the case USB C port will not work.

  • Will this code work on any PC from your store? I'm needing a capable workstation but no need for a graphics card, integrated graphics would do just fine, Have bought a gaming PC from you guys before and very happy with it

    • No not any unfortunately, only for this deal. Understand your needs completely, our workstation rigs here might be of interest - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/891923.

Thank you for your support and happy to hear all is well with your rig!

  • -1

this or the 7800 xt deal?

    • 7800XT deal unfortunately out of stock.
