OZB_EOFY_$500OFF

Hi OzBargian,

Lots of requests to bring back our budget under $1000 gaming rig options. This would be our lowest priced RTX 4060 rig available with an option to upgrade to the Ryzen 5 5600 for $50 for people who need more CPU grunt. Excellent value on these rigs for 1080P gaming with some notable differences to other offerings available OzBargain. The RTX 4060 selections will have a minimum of two fans rather than one, most parts have been listed for what you will get and a reliable 650W 80+ Silver rated power supply. Along with unspecified core components that other offerings may have, which is a key factor for some OzBargainers we also provide our 3 year return to base warranty and guaranteed 1 business hour response times via live chat, phone or email offering.

What makes us different?

  • Guaranteed within one business hour response times for email, phone and live chat support
  • We’re proud to offer a fair and transparent price that our competitors struggle to match with a quality service
  • Usage of only premium high-end components with the absolute best value - all components are listed
  • Each PC is quality controlled seriously before despatch, we run checks on all components multiple and stress tests including 3DMark and MemTest86
  • 3 years return to base warranty and lifetime support included on all purchases
  • All PCs shipped are packaged carefully – no internals can move during transit as we use protective packaging around all parts inside along with fragile stickers and tape all over your box - more info
  • Your PC is built with passion, we don’t take shortcuts and keep all cabling tidy whether you can see them or not - more info

Our reviews and Google Reviews are a testament to our service.

Pro for this deal - Brand name PSU + 3 yr RTB warranty, compared to 1yr RTB for techfast.
Possible con - The case. Very little info available for it, so hard to tell whether it's ok or complete junk. I guess at this price point expectations can't be too high.

      In terms of gaming performance, I'm guessing a 5500 + 4060ti will outperform a 5600 + 4060 non ti.

      • +4

Just in terms of the 5500, it only supports PCIe 3.0 and the 4060/ti only has 8 PCIe lanes, so you're stuck at PCIe 3.0 with 8 lanes with that combo.

I don't know how much of a bottleneck that represents (from what I can find on reddit it sounds like the 4060ti winds up closer to a 3060ti in terms of speed), but the 5600 supports PCIe 4.0 (which solves the problem). Extra L3 cache would be better for gaming too. For an extra $50, I'd get the 5600, especially if going with the TI.

        • Would need to upgrade the motherboard to support pcie 4 with this deal as well

          • @TRRR: No, it's purely a chip limitation.

There are two different designs of 5000 series, Cezenne and Vermeer. If you avoid the G chips (i.e. 5700G/GT/GE), the 5500 and the 5700 you'll be fine (also if you avoid budget GPUs with only 8 lanes on them - it's a cost saving thing). All the Vermeer chips, including the 5600 and anything with an X or X3D have PCIe 4.0 lanes in the chip.

            • @[Deactivated]: If the motherboard only supports pcie3 (B450m) what are you going to do?

    • +4

Other pro from this deal I assume you'll have it in under a month…

Appreciate techfast and their prices but when you say you have parts in stock then get sent an email on delays with them receiving them it's a bit frustrating…

      • Techfast seems to be doing that very often.

        • +1

So many people are having bad experiences with Techfast. Wouldnt touch them with a ten foot pole.

    • +2

Closest comparison would be here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/903792.

Our price is higher however, most key differences have been listed.

  • Any 5090 deals coming for EOFY?

  • pc noob here, will this be ok for GTA6 ?

    • For 1080P it should be fine, I would recommend the 5600 CPU for more grunt.

    • GTA 6 may not be out on PC until 2027 (a year after console release).

Hopefully it will run well, but by the time it comes out the 4060 will be a 4 year old mid range GPU.

  • to the OP when I click on the normal workstation link its already marked as expired?

    • Both are still available :).

  • Do you have any deals on powerful mATX builds? Keen for something with some juice but isn't an eyesore, won't take up much space on my desk, and could be easily moved to the lounge room to play on the TV.

    • Closest would be our current RTX 5070 Ti and 5080 rigs and the case to be upgraded to a Lian Li Dan A3 that is small form factor for your use case.

  • -1

can you match the recent techfast 7800x3d and 5080 deal? :D

    • +1

Not at this stage for our offering, sorry.

      • dang! would rather buy from you - bad past exp from them

        • +5

:(, our price difference is reasonable I believe for the offering we have. Unfortunately, the components and services we provide do come at an extra cost for these circumstances.

    • Can't unsee it now.

Just booted up my 5070ti build from Nebula. Very happy with PC :)

    • Thank you for your support! ❤️

  • could you bring this 7800XT deal back pretty plz? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/892998 @Nebula PC

    • Not at this stage, price will need to go up.

    • Hi,

Just sent a new one live now :). https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/907009

    • @Securityclearancet tagging you in case my reply doesn't notify you :).

  • Anything with integrated graphics @Nebula PC? My aunt needs a pc with monitor for simple office work + a bit of future proofing so i was thinking something like 1 24" 1080p 100hz monitor, ryzen 5 3600, 2x8gb ddr4 ram and a 500gb ssd?

    • Yes, our Focus build here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/891923.

      • Noticed you've taken out the 64G ram options for both these deals. Any BYO GPU deals with 64G ram?

        • +1

For AM5 systems the 64GB RAM is still there. We never had a 64GB option for AM4 builds I believe.

          • @Nebula PC: Can you tell me which systems the discount code OZB_EOFY_$500OFF works on? I tried on Workstation Sable but it didn't allow. Also tried the Intel Sable workstation but there is webpage problem where it says I have not selected the core>promo (air fresheners) even though I did. I actually have a 4060 GPU in a very old system… I need a newer system (with 64G RAM as I need to have multiple gfx apps open at the same time and currently swap disk is too slow.)

  • would love if an AM5 system with 4060 was offered again.
even better if also comes with upgrade options like semi modular gold PSU, RAM with slightly better timings and a CPU with integrated graphics.
though honestly would strongly consider any AM5 4060 offering, now that 4070S is never coming back to the table.

    • +1

      In the books :).

    • Why do you want a system with integrated gfx as well as a 4060 GPU?

    • Best priced AM5 RTX 4060 rig in Australia live now brother! https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/906695

  • Considering getting this Workstation PCs

    Workstation PCs: 5600G, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD: $468 | 9700X, RTX 4060, 32GB CL32 6000MHz RAM, 1TB SSD: $1528 + $50 Del @ Nebula PC

but coupon code doesn't seem to work any more…

    • +1

Apologies, this has been fixed. Could you please try now?

  • Hey team , any more deals for the 7800XT ? 🥲

    • +1

Potentially, however price will need to go up.

      • Thank you , what’s the reason?

        • 7800XT price has gone up unfortunately and is likely the last batches of them from AMD.

    • Hi @Alex221,

      New 7800XT deal live now - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/907009.

  • Is there a more budget option using RTX 3050?

Does the motherboard have on board graphics?

    • +1

Extremely unlikely, that card isn't popular on OzBargain. Not much value in it due to it's poor performance.

On board graphics can come from the CPU, is that what you mean?

      • Yes, is there onboard graphics from the CPU?

3050 is the fastest card without the extra power cable. I was planning to buy one, then steal the 3050 into another Dell box with no video power cable.

        • Yes, maybe 5600G would be your best value budget option for integrated graphics. No demand for 3050 unfortunately. Closest we have on hand would be an RX 6500XT.

  • Anything in the works for a budget 1440p build or GPU upgrade options?

  • -1

    Can you match this deal from before? Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 4060 Ti, 1TB Gen4 M.2, 16GB RAM, 650W 80+ Silver PSU: $998 + $50 Delivery @ Nebula PC

    • Match it in what sense? They're different system builds, the deal you mentioned is still live and available for purchase.

Edit: Do you mean RTX 4060 Ti in this deal with its pricing? Unfortunately not, would be a huge loss.

  • How long will this deal last?

    • Until we sell out, it'll likely be the last dance for the RTX 4060's before price will need to go up to accommodate the RTX 5060's.

  • I wanted to ask if this build can play Monster Hunter Wilds comfortably at 1080p?

    • Yes.

  • I wonder when a 5060 / 5060 ti offer will come

    • Not OzBargain friendly.
