Hi OzBargain,

Huge savings and ripper deals this end of financial year! Many requests for an RX 7800 XT rig for the ultimate value 1440P machine. Unfortunately, it will likely also be one of the last dances for this card. As of today, the rock bottom lowest priced RX 7800 XT system in Australia, it doesn't get better. Excellent value for 1440P gaming, one of the best price to performance cards available on the market!

Wish these were the prices for a 9070 or 9070xt setup

    • +7

Even if you got an AliExpress 7500f and the cheapest 9070 that's still $1270 ish just for them two components there lol, would be impossible to make margins at $1498

    • +10

      I wish too :(.

  • Any 5090 deals coming up for EOFY Lawrence?

  • +1

Similar config was cheaper last year. At this point I would probably just wait for 9060xt 16gb benchmark.

    • +2

So far, AMD have said the 9060xt will perform around the same as the 7700xt - about 30-40% less than the 9070xt.

I think that puts this build at a good price point

  • Any chance to get the Deepcool AG400 LED 75.89 CFM CPU Cooler on the 7500f deal above? Thanks.

  • I’m not sure about a 650w psu with a 7800xt and a 7800x3d… amd recommend at least a 700w with that gpu - doesn’t it peak around 120w tdp?

    • +4

No issues with power draw from our testing and previous system builds with the same setup :). Cost to a 750W PSU is a small jump unfortunately.

  • +3

Brought a similar setup from Nebula PC back in feb this year but i did select a different m/b and ram that was the default at the time. Cant fault it. Thanks again Nebula PC :)

    • +1

      ❤️😁

  • Looks like the 7800x3D is not included on the 2nd PC and costs $300 extra to select?

    • +3

It is included, and it does cost +$300 to select - https://gyazo.com/b0191d1421278c39c4592dbc13e98051. It's the same build, just need to select the CPU.

      • +1

        Ah, I see. Thanks mate.

Probably shouldn’t do these things at work.

Any similar builds with no graphics card included? Have a 6900xt, but everything else starting to fall behind on AM4 architecture.

        Thanks.

    Hi Lawrence,

Thanks for the deal, exactly the type I was looking for, have placed an order and was wondering how I would go about installing windows when it arrives. Do I just need to have it ready on a USB?

Thanks for the help, been a while since I've setup a new computer.

    • I bought a Nebula PC recently (great experience). Yep - very straight forward to do for a novice like me.

    • Where are you buying the Win11 licence from?

  • @Nebula PC I'm assuming you just sell complete systems (based on your website and your posts here) but I am also wanting to purchase some standalone HHDs (8 - 16TB for a NAS) is this something you can also add on to a PC purchase?
    Thanks

How are the thermals in this case with stock fans? I’ve seen smaller fishtanks struggle with GPU thermals without added fans.

    • Fishtanks run a little warmer than front mesh intake cases due to the dual glass design. Overall it still performs fine with the 2 side intake fans and one exhaust.

    • My GPU sits at around 70c in this setup when running Cyberpunk in 2k.
      That's in the tropics too

  • +1

Are their any images for the Nebula case, incl what and how many USBs it has etc.

    • +1
      • Any way to see all the sides of case +- where the USBs and types are?

        • The system build is now out of stock, sorry :(. The N5 supports a 1x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0 and HD Audio/Mic port. The side and front panels are tempered glass.

  • +2

Are people waiting for the real EOFY deals or you think these are it ?

  • +1

Fantastic deal, amazing value at sub $2k… I have the 7800XT and 7800X3D pairing and it's an absolute beast.

    • Do you have a 650w PSU too, or upgraded?

      • +1

750w, but mine was custom built. 650w should be fine.

  • +1

Ordered, best choice for 2K(1440p) user and under $2K so far

    • Thank you for your support! 😁❤️

  • Just wondering about warranty. i had a read of the warranty page here

    https://www.nebulapc.com.au/pages/warrranty

but was not sure about the following scenarios:
    i) does adding hardware (storage, RAM etc) void warranty
ii) does changing hardware (e.g. upgrading CPU cooler from the provided air cooler to an AIO)
iii) rehousing components into a different case

my guess is all of the above voids warranty, but just curious.

    lastly this bit:
"The machine must be returned in its original packaging, including foam inside and around the PC as per how it was received originally by the customer. If the original packaging is not used, NEBULA PC will not be liable for damage to the PC during transit back to our service centre and any repairs for transit damage will be at the customer's expense."

so we need to keep the original packaging for 3 years just in case a warranty claim is needed (not complaining, just clarifying. i guess i'll chuck it under the bed for 3 years…

    • +1

Yes, because it's a return to base warranty they're asking you to adhere to the protocols they use to get it to you safely initially. If you post at your own expense you could always make a claim against the shipper but that is fraught with issues. Just stick it under a bed or in a closet somewhere, they're not that big.

    • +1

It does not void warranty if you change any hardware, we are extremely reasonable and operate in the best interest of the customer. The obvious we just have to state, for instance if in the process there was user-induced damage, we are unable to cover this and we aren't able to warrant items not supplied by us.

There have been several instances where systems weren't sent in original packaging and they don't ship that well, unfortunately. We still warrant and process as usual and would let you know if there were any damage etc…

  • Hi Nebula

This may seem like a weird request but say I wanted to sell one of the components (CPU) and needed the box it originally came with to safely sell to someone. Would u be able to ship it?

    • Yes, for an additional cost due to the larger size for shipping. Some items we do not have the retail pack for them and are unable to provide unless a generic or another type of suitable box is okay. Please email us and we can organise for you :).

  • Hi Nebula, another we weird question, do have any ATX system which is great against dust, like all intake has dust protection / collector ? my place is dust magnet, i try to keep it clean but can't stop it. I saw Thermaltake Divider 300 has great dust protection and vertical GPU option which I like most. Do you have other case options on your systems ? Thanks

    • +1

It's hard with any case that has intake fans, as it will inevitably pull in dust. The only available options are on our builder at this stage.

  • The discount code isnt working anymore. Is the deal over ?

    • Yes, out of stock.
