Just for clarity and transparency, are all components in stock and ready, or is this a pre-order?

    • Items are in stock yes, the standard Ozb build times apply based on our order queues.

      • +3

Just bought the 4060 build this morning, is it possible to cancel and reorder or upgrade to this one?

        Many thanks!

  • +5

What is this …vram for ants??!!

    • +4

Yeah the cheapest 16GB on PCPP is $104 more but well worth it for future-proofing.

      • +1

There are many games that will look and run great with 8gb even at 4k, but they aren't exactly new games from this decade, and the situation is never going to get better as time goes on. If I was spending almost a grand on a computer I'd expect at least a couple of years new games running well going forward and 8gb is unlikely to deliver that.

  • +8

Pretty wild that 4060ti is still $649 when you can get a 7800 XT with 2x the VRAM for $100 more.

    • +5

Cause the DLSS and AI gang is shilling too strong to keep green team price down

    • +6

That's because Nvidia hates their customers.

    • +3

yep anyway we can a customisable options to include the 7800 XT instead?

      • +2

Nebula have had a couple of cracker deals (now expired). They haven't posted in a while though 🫤

  • Is a deal coming with a beefier graphics card?

    • it's a cycle. you will ask the same thing again next year as technology keeps improving.

      • +6

        i'll setup the reminder

  • Anybody know if mid-level GPUs get posted here? Budget around $400-600…ive been keeping an eye out but only see complete systems for sale. If not, best place to get one and time?

    • Define mid-level, a 4070 Super, 7800XT kind of card?

There's the RX 9060 to be announced soon and the 5060Ti cards are already out.

      • 7800XT is the type of card Im after for that sort of price range, yeah exactly…cards like that even on special? like a 20% saving or something?

        • Best ive seen was around the low 700s for a 7800xt.

        • Hahahaha. No.

          (We wish)

    • 7700XT isn't a bad bet, they have gone sub $600 before. 9070 GRE comes out next week and should be $850, so might see a dip in 7800 XT prices as it'll be faster than that (although only 12GB VRAM, it's meant to stomp all over the 5070)

Otherwise 9060 XT is due by June, just depends if it's any good. There will be a 16GB version of that although a tiny bus, hopefully it's faster than the 5060 Ti though at a much better price.

      • Thanks @freefall101. Pretty much the answer I was after. Just wanted the best value for money in my sort budget and when would be the best time to get one and if I should wait or not.

  • Not a must… but you might want to swap out the 8gb to 16bg vram card, unless you only play low tier 1080p games.

  • +1

No options for a better PCI-E 4 supported mainboard to pair with the 5600 upgrade? :(

    • Yeah that's causing me to hold out at this stage!

  • -2

Any plans for 4080ti? Happy to wait

  • +1

G'day mate, any odds of a 4070 deal coming out? I'm right on the cusp of picking one up but really needing that extra VRAM

    • +2

I wouldn't hold out hope, they stopped manufacturing them last year (whereas the 4060 kept being made for a while).

      • I wasn't aware of this, appreciate your reply mate

  • Hey mate. Will you guys do another ITX deal anytime soon?

  • +2

Is there any chance of doing a pre-built without a GPU? I'd love to BYO GPU

  • Need 1 for my son's basic gaming.
Any suggestion of changes to this deal, can budget little high.
    Thanks

  • Hi Luke any indication of what card? I know it said palit but are these dual fan cards or short itx style cards? I prefer something longer for the cooling and aesthetics given the windowed cases.

Also any indication on PSUs? Are the included PSUs no name brands? Or low end CoolerMaster, thermal take etc?

Any indication of brands for the upgraded 650 and 750 options?

  • i want to get this but when i click the link the price changes to 1098 with out shipping.

    • Did you remember to use the coupon code at checkout?

  • Any option to change motherboard to B450/ B550? the one included does not support PCIe 4.0
