12400F-4060-OCT7500F-9060XT-OCT...

Howdy folks, we've been busily working away fulfilling a lot of September orders, and I'm presenting some October bangers right across the board including new pairings and all time lows thanks to some component price drops and hard work from our purchasing team.

Firstly the return of an old favourite on absolute final last clearance - these always go in 2 seconds and will happen again, with an ITX i5-12400F and RTX 4060 with 4060 Ti offered too. The Leaper Edge ITX case is an all-aluminium chassis in a great little form factor with two side panel options (glass and ventilated).

Intel Core i5-12400F | RTX 4060 8GB ITX Gaming PC: $888 after 12400F-4060-OCT

  • Intel Core i5-12400F processor with stock cooler
  • RTX 4060 8GB (Palit Storm X and Zotac Solo on hand - RTX 4060 Ti upgrade also offered)
  • Maxsun H610 ITX motherboard
  • 16GB 3200MHz RAM
  • 1TB NVMe
  • 650W Bronze PSU (MSI, Giga normally in use, brand/model may vary)
  • Leaper Edge ITX chassis (30cm tall, 39cm deep and 16.5cm wide)

Next the first 9060 XT 16GB system we've done, paired with the Ryzen 5 7500F. It trades blows with the RTX 5060 Ti and comes in cheaper.

AMD Ryzen 5 7500F | RX 9060 XT 16GB Gaming PC: $1188 after 7500F-9060XT-OCT

  • AMD Ryzen 5 7500F processor with stock cooler
  • AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB (brand/model may vary, XFX, Gigabyte and Sapphire primarily in use)
  • 32GB 6000MHz RAM (brand/model may vary, normally BiWin)
  • 1TB Gen 4 NVME SSD (Biwin primarily in use)
  • Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard (Giga B850M Gaming X AX upgrade offered)
  • 650W 80 Plus Bronze PSU (MSI, Giga normally in use, brand/model may vary)
  • Antec CX200M MATX case

Then all time lows on these two 7800X3D pairings, with RTX 5070 Ti and RX 9070 XT - again quite evenly matched so it's team green vs team red with the price point reflecting approximate performance difference and relative higher cost as always on NVIDIA's side.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RX 9070 XT 16GB Gaming PC: $1999 after 7800X3D-9070XT-OCT

  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor with AG400 air cooler
  • AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB (XFX largely in use, brand/model may vary)
  • Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard (Giga B850M Gaming X AX upgrade offered)
  • 32GB 6000Mhz RAM (Biwin primarily in use)
  • 1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD (Biwin primarily in use)
  • 750W 80 Plus Gold PSU (XPG, Antec, MSI primarily in use)
  • Antec CX500M case

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RTX 5070 Ti 16GB Gaming PC: $2248 after 7800X3D-5070TI-OCT

  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor with AG400 air cooler
  • RTX 5070 Ti 16GB (Palit in use)
  • Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard (Giga B850M Gaming X AX upgrade offered)
  • 32GB 6000Mhz RAM (Biwin primarily in use)
  • 1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD (Biwin primarily in use)
  • 750W 80 Plus Bronze PSU (XPG, Antec, MSI primarily in use)
  • Antec CX500M case

Handling times ETA 10-15 business days.

    • +1

Agree should be $849 and with the $979 9070XT just gone OOS I feel like their 9070XT deal isn't anything special either

      • -5

        should be $849

please find me anyone else selling a gaming pc for that

@marshmall0w2: This is how to not be a contrarian pest - by backing your comments. Nice.

              • +19

@marshmall0w2: You've gotta be another level of arrogant to simply expect people to treat your word as gospel. That's why you became a meme on this site

                  • +5

@marshmall0w2: Did you need to install double doors in your house to change rooms? Ego the size of a planet.

              • +14

@marshmall0w2: @marshmall0w2 the problem you've always had, and we've discussed this a number of times, is when people ask you for links to back up your more outrageous claims ($800 4060 laptop comes to mind), you often can't provide them. That causes you to lose credibility.

Instead you'll just come up with excuses like "not every deal is posted to ozb" or it was some random eBay deal that no one else on the planet saw except (allegedly) you.

Sorry dude but no matter how knowledgeable you believe you are, people are not simply going to believe your feedback and advice without some sort of evidence.

It's not owners and industry shills down voting you, it's normal ozb users. They may be uninformed, but you're not informing anyone when you don't post any evidence.

                  • +11

@marshmall0w2: Exactly, which is why your comments don't have credibility.

Again it's normal ozb users who are down voting you because a lot of the time your comments are not useful nor are they informative and that why you seem like you have a massive ego.

It's just some random dudes opinion, and it's often advice that the average ozb user can not realistically utilise.

                      @wombat81:

It's just some random dudes opinion

                      Why, yes.

                      • +1

@marshmall0w2: So if you want to be considered an industry expert, which is what you seem to think you are, rather than a random dude who makes stuff up, you're going to need to be more diligent with providing evidence.

            • -1

@InfiniteWee: as snarky as you are, you are useless

          • @marshmall0w2: I bought that and was looking for another, seems like a bigger nvme and a real psu is the difference?

          • @marshmall0w2: Thanks, nice find!

I'll wait for the next sub $700 deal since that'll have a functional custom PC as I do not care about performance but I do care about aesthetics. I plan to ditch their case and buy a Hyte Y60 or Y70, hopefully all the parts are compatible for a seamless switch.

Pray for the AI boom to end?

      • +2

It's all a bubble that will pop soon. Investment in AI vs the generated revenue doesn't make any sense at all.

        • +2

It's a $50 billion dollar industry priced as a trillion dollar industry.

    • +5

      if we're BS-ing, I'd like a GTA6 rig for sub $1k

      • I'd also like GTA6 for $12 and a half-empty pack of chewing gum

      • Done, you just need to buy it a month after release /s

  • Any chance of some 20-24gb vram deals? Looking to update my rig with a little LLM on the side

Whats with the linux mint operating system? No windows unless 189 extra? Zinteresting

    • +1

Licensing. I vaguely recall my order from these guys coming with an A4 printout telling me how to use the Linux install to download and setup Windows on the machine though. It's just a way to keep costs down

    • Just get a usb drive and download windows10/11 iso file or setup file from microsoft its free anyway.

  • Luke, you might want to check the site description for the Ryzen 5 7500F deal as it says "… comes with the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor"

    • thanks, fixed

  • +3

Are you guys going to update your 9800x3d offerings for next month soon? Please include a 9070xt build xo.

Casually suggesting forgery… That's how I like my businesses to respond..

        • LMFAO

        • Hey if someone is going to commit fraud with the invoice, may as well add forgery….

  • +1

ordered from these guys, pc came with faulty hdmi output and audio jack, horrible customer service to follow up

    • +1

and how do you sell a 'gaming pc' with a legacy 10+ dated intel

    • The itx build has no built in wifi so I’m out

  • can we plz get this instead https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/908717

    • Big price jump!

  • Looks like the Techfast deals have drawn to a close. Oh well.

  • Just some recent experience with Techfast.

Before I made the purchase, they answered all my questions promptly, despite not expecting them to do so on a late Friday afternoon.
ETA on the website was pretty accurate and got with the suggested date. Had an issue with a m.2 stand off missing, but with a quick email, they sent it out really quickly and got it within 2 business days. The packaging was top-notch, and the build of my 9800x3D/ RTX 5090 was super clean. Really happy with it. Didn't need to change anything with the setting. No bloatware with the Windows install. Just wish they had an ITX/MTX case for this that would fit my x870 board lol
