FYI the RX-6650-XT is somewhere between a 4060 and 4060Ti in terms of performance.

I see now after posting this comment that you already said it's between a 3060 and 4060 lol.

Very nice that Windows 11 is installed and activated at this price point

    • it always surprises me they manage to laser fit each product precisely to slip in between the competition's, like this is how many cores or mhz we use to project the performance to fit exactly right in between

    • +2

      That's not true.

In terms of rasterization performance the 4060 is about 7% faster, and it also has better ray tracing performance + upscaling quality.

You must be taking about 6700xt instead.

      • 6700XT price to performance with used prices is unmatched. Sucks it hasn't dropped in used price since I got mine 2 yrs ago, but same goes for all GPUs.

        • If anything, the 6700xt used price has increased cause the supply has completely dried up.

Which is shocking because mining is dead, and AI doesn't really work well with amd cards, so there shouldn't be any pressure on AMD price except for supply constraints applied by AMD themselves.

      • Hey man, why you gotta disprove all the info I gained from a single google search and the resulting AI overview?

Good deal OP. Rare to see these PCs with Windows 11 activated and included in the price.

  • +1

    Wow, what a price!

  • So no upgrades possible with this system? No options listed against anything other than warranty options….

    • +4

That's right - they're fully prebuilt and boxed to be allocated to an order and ship.

  • Hi Techfast,

the price is good, but I want a bit higher kits. I know that you have other packages but I am a bit confused which one is most suitable for me.

I don't play games at all, but using it mainly as a work computer but also watch highly compressed video (downloaded, using plex) frequently.
I typically open several programs, including Microsoft office, Word, Excel, Access, simultaneously while watching movies at the background. I think I need an i7 or AMD equivalent, Memory 32 or 64 GB, SSD 1TB, very good and stable power supply (I typically using my PC 24 hr/7 days).

I am using wifi 6E (mesh wifi) but I am not sure should I upgrade to wifi 7.

Could you advise which package is most suitable for me?
    thankyou.

Most of Techfast's systems that have been posted on Ozbargain are catered to gamers. like 9 out of 10 of them will have a GPU, of which you don't seem to be after since you just work and stream videos.

Their value comes from shaving down things that gamers typically don't need, and using budget cases, PSU's and lesser-brand motherboards. The CPU featured in this one is two generations behind. So if you want a newer generation CPU, more storage, a nicer case, a more power efficient power supply or a different form factor system you need to get a custom built pc rather than a prebuilt one.

  • Would it be easy enough for an idiot like me to crank up the RAM?

    • +1

DDR4 is pretty cheap nowadays, I'd just buy your own kit with higher speeds and swap it out.

  • +3

would it be cheaper if I dont want windows installed ?

    • +1

      fellow massgrave enjoyer??

      • +1

        haha definitely

  • can we order ram and a hdd and install ourselves through you?

    • To quote Luke above:

they're fully prebuilt and boxed to be allocated to an order and ship.

Still a great deal, you could swap it out yourself.

  • +3

Good price, but note there's no wifi

    • Just get an AliExpress wifi 7 USB dongle for $20

    • It can fit an M.2 PCIe (and that other new standard) wifi card as it comes with this metal enclosire and antennas. Just added one to the other ITX deal they had a couple weeks ago.

Bluetooth and WiFi 6 working after adding in that wireless card.

  • Pretty sure I know the answer already is either 0 or 1, but how many internal 3.5" bays in case I wanna do some light nas duties with this thing?

    • 2 x Internal 3.5"

  • Any deals on a small form factor home office machine with Windows 11?

  • +2

Thanks for another great deal Techfast.

Keep in mind that the Leaper-Edge case is much bigger than the Leaper-I case that came with the previous Techfast ITX deals (19L vs 6.5L). It is almost at the micro-ATX level volume wise.

  • alright ordered

  • -1

Would this be ok to run WoW on

    • +1

Yes more than enough, with anything pre-2020 you should be able to run on at least very high if not ultra high settings at 1080p.

  • damn just missed out of stock! :(

  • Already OOS? :(

    • +4

Saved yourself $700. Put it towards a better system lol. That's a lot of money.

      • +1

Not for personal use. They are great little systems for basic workstations.

        • Just get a mini-PC than an ITX like this one. There are even more powered mini PCs for about $500 on GMKTec's sales. Like, wayyyy better than this Intel 12th gen CPU.

          • +1

@marshmall0w2: I don't agree with your advice. Sure this is way more expensive but the mini pc can barely be used beyond web browsing. This is a full form computer with a graphics card. The use is totally differen't

            • @despavr: you are right but what chinospot wanted is 'little systems for basic workstation'.

            • @despavr: Lol no. I don't think you know how powerful mini PCs have become nowadays. Their integrated graphics card are more powerful too. OC mentioned for "basic workstation" and a $500 mini PC is more than enough for that.

  • Damn that was quick

  • Will this be able to play fortnite at 1440P 100+ FPS?

    • +2

On performance mode, sure. Epic settings, no.

    • +1

      5700x3d +6800 +32G RAM (PBO -30, undervolted with 2400MHz)
Native 1440p 140fps~160fps on fortnite with ultra mix very high setting but off shadow + off RT. I guess this one will get 100-120 fps with my setting (RT, Shdows and Lumen setting impact fps the most)

  • I want this. I’m too slow hahaha

  • Sad I missed this, any other budget options planned for EOFY?

    • I am hoping techfast do a AMD equivalent soon I only just missed it !.

      • hoow long ya reckon am5 will be supported

        • AMD plans to support the AM5 socket until at least 2027, according to AMD's official announcement.

          • @Series4Episode10: Oooh good to know.

The important thing I'm looking for is motherboards staying sub $200!
