What will be your turn around time? Do you guys have 5080s and 5070ti in stock?

    • +1

      "Delivery ETAs 10-15-business days."

  • +2

    Hi Luke,

Any option to upgrade to 9800x3d?

I have been waiting for you to post a deal like the last one with that processor before I pull the trigger.

If not will just keep waiting.

    Thanks

    • +4

Might not be the best time - pricing on 7800X3D is good but 9800X3D really not, meaning a huge gap between them. I'm not going to list it on this deal.

      • No worries, understand not for everyone but for me its worth the extra price.

  • +2

My 5080 build from early april should be shipping any day now weeeeeeeeee :D

    • damnnn early april and still not here :S @Loubon said "Delivery ETAs 10-15-business days."

Luke very keen to get this how long you reckon it would get delivered to Brisbane.

      • +2

The 5080's were back order late april/early may.

      • +2

Also quite a large number of non-business days in April this year and people taking 3 days off to get 10 wouldn't have helped.

    • +1

My 5080 build from the January deal has just gone to the picked phase.

  • +4

probably asked a million times before, but

any chance to remove the NVME storage & cost from the build so i can use my own?

    • -2

Yes you can remove the NVME to sell and then use your own

    • Just buy and install another SSD.

  • +4

    Great price.
I've just built a rig with similar specs and it cost me quite a bit more.
Unfortunately building it and picking all the parts is the most exciting part for me, so pre-built systems don't work :/

  • +3

Any chance of changing the mother to Asus TUF Gaming B650M-E or MSI MAG B650M MORTAR?

    • Probably not but do it if you can. My asus tuf mobo is excellent

    • I'm curious why you want to change the board? As one of the named parts, this is actually a positive it seems, I haven't researched the specific board though.

      • Not good vrm but ok for 7800x3d i guess .

  • do you guys use any white 240mm cpu AIO?

  • +3

Definitely the best spot for price vs performance, banger cpu and the best value but still good gpu.

Kinda hate all the case options tho

  • What's the expiry on these deals? I have a house settling on the 19th and am holding out for that before grabbing a new PC

    • +1

EOFY coming up, gonna be more/better deals

      • yeah, good point

  • Hey Luke,
Any deals on any mid-range rigs ie 7800xt's coming soon?
Big price gap in the current deals available, with nothing in the 1200-1500 range it seems.

    • +3

7800 XT is end of life so I don't think you gonna see deals with them anymore, if yes then most likely clearance sale.

For the range of 1200-1500 it should be for the 5060/5060 Ti systems, but 5060 Ti 8gb version is completely garbage and 16gb version isn't that good either. 5060 is yet to be released so that may be your best bet, don't hold too much hope with the current price trend tho.

Reminder that this a budget mobo that has been purposefully nerfed by Gigabyte to NOT support PBO2 (settings may be there, but they don't apply). This means there's no undervolting and you're stuck with stock voltages and temps, which is both wasteful and leaves performance on the table. There is a confirmed working (I did it) hack to cross-flash the board to a Gaming X AX which unlocks PBO2, but do so at your own risk.

    • i never figured out how to properly pbo without reducing performance or stability. even after following guides my games would crash often

      • +1

Did you properly stability test using corecycler and tools like Prime95? The idea is to start generous / optimistic (say -30 on all cores) and stability test until a core crashes. When it does, you dial that core down two notches (to -28) and re-run the stability test. Rinse, repeat until you can run stable for a couple of hours to a day. This is a time consuming process. You'll find that some cores will for example only allow you run at -10 or even on 0, whilst others will run at -30. If your have cores that are unstable at 0, you may qualify for an RMA.

        • Thank you! I previously tested stability with Cinebench. I will try again with corecycler and Prime95

    • +1

Hi I'm very curious about this, can you share a source for these claims? If it's for productivity, makes sense, but for gaming, has anyone tested a 7800X3D in this board, and compared it to another unlocked board, and shown the performance lost?
PBO for Zen2 and Zen3, did not improve gaming performance, afaik. I'm running Zen4 myself (7700) and I have not enabled PBO, as my understanding was, there's no gaming performance to be gained.
      Thanks,

      • I knew about the bad vrm in this gigabyte board.
Hardware umboxed recommends not to buy this board.
Undervolting is great as ur cpu stays in higher clocks all cores i think…

      • First of all, Gigabyte themselves confirmed PBO being disabled on this board when I raised a support ticket on why PBO wasn't applying. PBO is more about saving power / longevity by lowering temps and wattage at a given workload.

See this thread on /r/overclocking explaining the hack to enable PBO on this board. Again DYOR, risk is yours, voids warranty, etc.

  • Banger value and the current sweet spot imo.

Techfast deals are top notch man. We shouldn’t take it for granted!

Edit: I realise I sound like a shill bot lol, I swear zero affiliation. Didn’t even get a discount on nothing, just my actual opinion.

    • +3

you're fine mate, ignore the haters

  • +7

My ssd and ram are showing multiple errors (and bsods) from the January 5080 build after a bit over a month of use (been seeing multiple cases). Will be contacting them this week, but I'm not in a rush considering I've heard it takes a week+ for them to respond to RMAs. But yeah, take care- they slap in the cheapest ram and ssd (I got something called a 'klevv') possible and hope that it doesnt fail.

  • Hey, TECHFAST, any mid priced (12-1700) coming out? That have good gpu + cpu like a 7500f + 7800xt?. Or is this coming back in future at better price?

    • +1

There is a 7500f + 5070 posted here as well for around 1.8k

      • -1

Do you think its good value compared to this?

  • Pulled the trigger, thanks tech fast!

  • +1

Possibly a pretty good deal, couple of questions as I may keep this in mind for a friend in the near future (if the deal is still running). Of course, depending on a few of these answers, I'd rather DIY it for security of known well performing parts…

Any other Air coolers available? This one is fine, but would rather upgrade it if possible.

Any other case options, other than the ones in the configurator? Otherwise the P20C is the pick imo, guess it's down to aesthetics.

Which 9070XT? Or which options, are there options?

Does the RAM come with CL30 timings?

Is the SSD one with a DRAM cache? Say it with me, which SSD/s is it/are available?

PSU, guess what I want to know (brands/model).

Lastly, can Windows be installed without a licence, so the buyer can arrange their own? DIY can do this no problem, but not sure what happens for SIs nowadays.

  • Do you think this is a good deal guys? Should i get this

    • +2

Pricing is good, but motherboard ain't the best/optimal for this particular CPU.

  • Fully insured for transit at no extra cost

Lol that's on you anyway. Until it's delivered to the customer it is still techfasts property. Anything happens in transit, that's on them.

Fully warranted with transit covered both ways in the event of warrantable faults

And that's the law, not bragging rights.

    • Not sure why downvoted. People don't know their consumer rights.

  • +1

would order this deal, but need to have more mobo and case options.

    • Same, would like to see some slightly higher end motherboards offered for me to pull the trigger.

  • +1

Does this qualify for the monster hunter with amd?

  • Anyone like techfast have pre-build systems that are good for a NAS? Like the ability to put in 10 spinners? I need a new home server but can't be bothered with the hardware just wanna buy something pre-built and slap Unraid on it.

  • @luketechfast any deals that's suitable for local AI/LLM processing, with high end CPU + dual high end GPUs? Thanks.

  • +1

Is this still available? Could not add to my cart

  • +1

Please adjust deat to upgrade motherboard. Thanks

  • +1

Sold out too fast. I have a mate wanting to go all AMD on a build. Any more stock coming?

  • Any chance for this deal to return?
