    Just the tips?

      • +1

"Just the tip" is a joke, a sexual one.

No, it looks like it may be Quick reference handbook, fridge magnets, and other physical aids. I was expecting an app or .pdf, but it takes the phone number requested with a promise to contact you re delivery.

One would hope for the sake of sanity that the first contact would be confirmation text rather than a cold call. They do have a good rep to uphold. I don't want them posting it to Adelaide…

    • Trust me, you wouldn't want more than the tip.

  • Solution for thunderstorms and fireworks - Doggy ear muffs

    • I reckon they'd last a king charles spaniel 15 minutes, but there might be sharp bits..

I think you will find this is just their attempt to get contact details for future telemarketing. It alludes to that on the ad in NSW. I doubt very much it has anything of value in the pack.

I've done one like this before, they get a very pushy marketer wanting you to donate, but they do send it regardless of donating or not

DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HARASSED BY TELEMARKETERS

This. Happened to me too. They rang me and kept trying to insist we go on a monthly donation plan. We make a pretty decent donation to the RSPCA annually, which I explained, but the guy keep trying to come up with monthly payment options. In the end it was a sorry, no thanks and hang up.

If this is what I think it is they just do it to have your phone number to harass you every week to donate and help their cause.
I rang their customer service last year with caller ID off and asked if I could give them my address over the phone so I can get the package without getting hounded.
They told me I had t sign up with my phone number to receive it.
Of course you could always just block their number after you get the package but then they have your mail address and when one telemarketer gets your phone number so do plenty others. All it really offers that you cant get for free with a google search is the sticker to put in your front window so not really worth it.

  • Make sure you tell them, when they call, "I am very pooor, do not have a bank account and always use Cash."

This will get them off the phone.

  • Open the page, see you have to enter your phone number, close the page.

    Doesn't look "free" at all
