CONFIRMED EVENT - ALL HAIL KING SCOTTY

To end OzBargain’s 13th Birthday with a bang, I figured I would make one much more interesting (and a bargain). Cannot go wrong with free food that comes with free arcade games from the free food. Talk about OzBargain spirit!

Meetup at Sunday 24th November 5:00 PM (sorry 30th on a Sunday this year actually does not exist lol)

Sunday Promotion (only after 5PM) Spend $10 on food/drinks and get FREE 1-hour arcade games (Valid for games with blue and green card readers only and no tickets are awarded. Boooo)

More importantly, they have $10 pizzas and $10 Espresso Martinis which are eligible for the free 1-hour arcade

So essentially one could:
A. $10 pizza -> 1-hr arcade -> $10 pizza -> 1-hr arcade
B. $10 pizza -> 1-hr arcade -> $10 martini-> 1-hr arcade
C. $10 martini -> 1-hr arcade -> $10 pizza -> 1-hr arcade
D. $10 martini -> 1-hr arcade -> $10 martini -> 1-hr arcade
E. Order anything else and still get the 1-hour arcade

And yes all are welcome to attend.

      Hong Ha doesn’t seem to be going ahead from the looks of the numbers, but if it gets above 15 I am more than happy to host it (not that it requires much planning). For budgeting reasons, I think it will only involve the lunch and nothing else afterwards. I just wanted to support Hong Ha given the circumstances of targeted behaviour by a competitor and the loss of their daughter back in 2003.

      I would say there’s a budget of $20 or less, per person. So if you were to get 2x$10 pizzas/margaritas then it should also get you 2x1-hr arcade.

      I’d say 15+ people would be a go ahead but it’s up to Scotty’s discretion, as it is being reimbursed by Scotty’s life savings. See his post for further information.

        It's reimbursed from OzBargain revenue, from those who aren't using Firefox or didn't have adblockers turned on. I thought we might put some of that revenue into good use with these parties.

        I'll say $20-$30pp is reasonable. Just need to remember to collect the receipts so I can reimburse whoever paid on the day.

      Prelim count of paper receipts came up as $341 for 14 people. Need to check my credit card bill incase I missed a receipt. So approximately $24 per person. Not bad for multiple rounds of high sugar (diabetic) drinks, fatty pizzas and burgers, and 2-3 hours of arcade and bumper cars!
