Esky 52L Wheeled Hard Cooler $68.90 (Was $89) @ Bunnings

140

I'd been looking at getting a larger esky/cooler with wheels for a while. A mate of mine has one of these, seems pretty good. I've read some comments about the handle being a bit flimsy but I think it will work fine if you're not too rough with it. Seems to be a good amount of stock around. Thanks to Pricehipster for the alert; seems this is the cheapest price it has been.
I bought one this afternoon, it looked the price tag indicated the discount would end on 13/11/2019.

This large capacity 52L wheeled cooler is the all rounder and perfect for any occasion. With it's all terrain wheels, telescopic handle and sit on lid you can rely on the Esky brand. This cooler also has built in cup holders in the lid and has a sleek new design.

Thanks OP, had my eye on this for a while. What's the handle like?

I think it’s ok. It’s like one of those telescopic suitcase handles. Handy that it packs away. I guess it could become misaligned (like some suitcase ones) but I think if it’s not treated like a heavy duty piece of equipment it should last

PS. The handle does make it easy to wheel the esky around

Just a word of advice having had a few of similar ones, if you got to the beach and get sand in the rails do hose and dry them down otherwise the pull handles wiill just corrode and not function. Also make sure after the water wash it is dried thoroughly to avoid rusting.

  • Can anyone recommend a good slighly bugger one that isnt too High? (No wheels)

  • i have one of these - give them a good rinse after rolling on sand/dirt and if you treat it well, it should be around for a while.
