Catch of The Day Nike Shoes. Are They Legit? Strange Sizing

Looking at a pair of wide Nike's on Catch of the Day (pretty ordinary, but wide are hard to find).

I'm a Eur size 45.

Normally this is a 10 or an 11.

The catch website sizing chart shows a 45 as 12.5! never seen a 12.5= 45 in my life.

Are these legitimate / authentic Nike shoes?

Cheers

I'll say Catch has a very strange size chart. According to this page, for Nike EU45 should be US11.

By the way the same shoes is cheaper on Catch.com.au.

    • Cheers. So do you use the Nike chart or Catches? I'll have to read up on their return policy / using Paypal returns.

As for the direct link, they are the non wide version. The wide is $119

*Edit - I think the chart catch uses is a womens chart.

I bought Asics Kayanos from Catch 3 or 4 years ago and they seemed suss - smelt strongly like glue/plastic (other pairs I had bought online and in store never had the same smell) and the foam in the heel collar broke down far earlier than other pairs I had previously used. I've never bought shoes from Catch again.

The pair I bought looked okay, but I don't know if maybe some pairs are seconds or they use slightly different materials for a different market?

Eu 44 has always been us 11 for me, so the catch sizing seems, legit

  • I bought a pair of onitsuka tigers and managed to wear a hole through the sole in a few months. I think the catch stuff must be cheap shit.

  • I got a pair of Nikes off Catch a couple of months ago
    They are falling apart now

  • Surely they cant legally sell knock offs? I guess if you cant prove it!! I got a pair of Nike AirMax's from a street vendor guy in Greece for $30. They looked the goods, but the foam sole died pretty quickly. Maybe the same type of thing…

  • You go and buy nikes from Greece from all places you probably visited. Lol

    • Well going by the comments here, he was better off paying $30 for a knock off than paying $119 for a locally available pair of knock offs ?

      • This is true..Had a blow out of old shoes. Nigerian fella swooped in… Gave him 20 euros.. kept strolling in my new wheels!

For what it's worth, they are sized incorrectly as well.

  • US10 is 42-43? its always been like that for me.

But Catch is legit, although they probably sell grey market products.
