    Great price. Thanks.

Is the iphone 11 the same screen:phone dimensions and weight as the XR?

  • Never knew iPhones have 24 months warranty

I believe Australian stock has 2 years local apple warranty.

You believe wrong. All apple items except Apple Watch have a ONE YEAR warranty.

        https://www.apple.com/au/legal/statutory-warranty/

The Retailer (seller) may decide to offer/honour a 2 year or longer warranty (Australian statutory consumer guarantee), however that's not the same thing as the manufacturer's (Apple) warranty.

You believe wrong. Consumer rights would get you warranty for at least 3 maybe 4 years at $882

    • iPads too

    • Minimum

      • It's ONE YEAR warranty from Apple. Read my post and link above.

The official Apple Warranty is 12 months, however every iPhone and iPad sold in Australia comes with an additional 12 months Aus statutory consumer warranty, resulting in a warranty of 2 years in total, this also applies to the Apple store directly.

I've had to deal Apple many times on devices older than 12 months and they've replaced them immediately, on the receipt the replacement says "out of warranty, statutory consumer warranty applies". Depending on the issue and the person you deal with at the genius bar, I've even had cases were the device has been a few months older than 24 months and they've still replaced it anyway.

          • @jesse085: Had hard drive replaced on an imac nearly 3 years old. They advertise making the best computers in the world. They shouldnt break in less than 3 years. Personally i would expect warranty to last 3 years for apple products.

It states on website 1 year warranty but it is 2 years according to Australian consumer law As Long as you claim to the retailer you bought it from. I had issue with my iphone 7 in second year after I bought it and apple replaced for free. Mind you i had to mention word Australian consumer Law. but they didn’t hesitate too much.

      • Oh didn’t know that acl state minimum 2 years

Would not recommend this model. It’s still a premium price for a not so premium device. Get the 11 for a little bit more and you’ll get 4GB of ram instead of 3GB and a vastly superior camera and better processor. Or wait a couple of months for the iPhone 8 successor (aka SE 2) if you don’t mind a smaller screen which should be a fair bit cheaper than this.
