Who doesnt like a all you can eat rice paper roll buffet! The place serves bbq as well if rice paper rolls are too healthy for you.

Hm, I know there's a ricepaper roll buffet, but is there a bbq one..? Or would bbq just be a la carte?

That is 26 people @ $22pp. This means $572. With $72 remaining and split evenly, this will be ~$2.80pp
I'll speak to Scotty about this. I we may get more funding if we have more people since we are reaching 30 soon.

Get 15+ people and OzBargain will sponsor $500 towards venue or catering. More if you can gather a larger crowd of OzBargainers.
Don't think it would be an issue to claim it after.

Thinking of putting balloons. If anyone has a small helium tank, that would be awesome!
It is so sad to see helium wasted in ballons. It is a non-renewable resource because once released into the atmosphere, the gas will eventually escape Earth's gravity and dissipate into space. Being a noble gas, unlike hydrogen, it does not bind with other gases to remain in the atmosphere.
And we cannot make more helium until we invent workable nuclear fusion reactors.

Update: I've increased the booking with the restaurant to 30 people. Also met up with Scotty yesterday, there will be limited number of T-shirts for those who attend. First come first serve.
