      Mine has become my absolute daily. Runs perfect. Fluked Amazon + cashback promo and got it ~$300 but I think the odds of that happening again are very low.

    Nice post OP. I got that Seiko Prospex Automatic SRPB99K last year and it is really beautiful.

      sarb033 or 055 they will run you a bit more and have been discontinued now but still well worth the $

        I've owned the SARB033 for a long long time now. You could get seiko 5 versions that are visually similar for a fraction of the price. I really like the SARB033 but as you said it's discontinued so the price is just too high and doesn't really seem like much of a deal anymore. I paid $200 for it on ebay but I reckon the $600 now is a bit steep.

    Then I always see people trying to dump 10 Seiko automatics, trying to fund half a secondhand Speedmaster. Why do people buy so many watches when they could save for a while and just get the one they really want?

      Agree some people are self defeating but not all of us.

      I have my 40 year old speedmaster I bought new, seamaster, constellation, TAG … …

      Love the look and value of the Seiko range and always wanted a Pepsi style in the collection. Sadly it will likely be used rarely as my holiday watch - no need to take it off, do anything with it and if stolen/lost I am not thousands down the drain.

      Starbuys are genuine, i really don't think you can get away selling replica watches @ ozbargain without people flagging it, i have purchased about 5 watches from Starbuys and i can tell they are genuine and also very professional with great delivery and service,
