They look good. But definitely not with paying $900 for. 120W output in total.
I grabbed one as I planned to get the yamaha 207 anyway. This has slightly less tech but from specs the components seem of higher quality.
There was a firmware released this year for ARC and some other fixes which bodes well.
Was thinking of the Yamaha….well…it's confusing now
Well, let me put it this way; you'll always get a Yamaha at its current price, but you'll rarely ever get a Jamo at this price! thats how i went about it
Any idea about it's sound quality compared to the Yamaha?
There arent many reviews in english.
I just compared the specs and for example, I know the subs range is slightly more capable than the yamaha 207, which has known problems in this area.

Hey I have bought this from harvey Norman for $295 price matched video pro. They gave also included Jamo DS5 Bluetooth speakers for free. It's grey colour. Sound is really nice.

I am very impressed with this soundbar + sub-woofer.
Never listened to any Jamo speakers before but glad I bought it, the TV sound has been totally transformed. Even on low, the dialogue is crisp and not drowned out by background music.
For regular TV programs, I turn the surround sound off (bit over-powering), dialogue enhance on, turn down the sub-woofer.
For movies, turn surround sound on, turn sub-woofer higher.
Boom, fills the room with glorious sound….why have I been listening to the pathetic tinny little TV speakers for so long.
Cons-
Colour is a bit naff if all your equipment is all black but we have a light coloured tv unit so it doesn't look too bad.
The remote is tiny (easily lost), but think you can program your existing TV remote to control the Jamo (not tried this yet though).
Would'nt pay $700 for it but it's real value at this price.
Only regret is should have got the same deal nik got from HN which has 2 more BT speakers.
You got a great deal there, proper surround-sound set up with the DS5's at the rear.
Can the Ikea sonos speakers be paired with the SB40?
Not a Sonos so maybe not?
Wait, so can the DS5 speakers be added as rears? Can anyone confirm this?
