  • couldn't resist! bought

Wondering if someone has Bang Olufsen H9I and what it looks like if you compare those to Bang Olufsen

    • I’ve got the H9i. To me it sounds fantastic and I can’t really complaint!

  • +2

Sound: PX is warmer / brighter, H9I is darker. I personally find H9I's base a little muddled, but each of their own.

Comfort: PX clamping force is hard. H9I is more comfortable, but i find H9I sound leaks abit.

    Noise cancelling: about the same.

  • How's this compare to Ozbargain favourite headphones Bose QC35ii & Sony WH1000XM3?

    • +2

Both of those have better ANC but worse sound quality. Really they are not fantastic cans for music (I own them both!) but excellent to block out noise

      • totally agree that Bose sound quality is very average when you try H9i after Bose. Huge difference.

    • I've had all 3. PX has best sound and build quality, but worst in terms of comfort.

      Sony is the compromise option
Bose QC35ii is the most comfortable option but most limited as it doesnt not have APTX-HD or LDAC.

  • "after trade-in" - does this mean it is valid if you send in another pair of headphones?

    • i ordered and mine are coming via Australia post
didnt ask about any trade in

    • +1

That is part of a previous “discount promotion” which many stores / sellers participated in.
Apparently all you had to do was take a photo of old headphones and send it to an email address.

“$399 after Trade-in” promotion is probably finished, so they just forgot to take it out of the description.
