Yeah $100 is a good sale price for these, nice update from the HD450BT, but you should be seeking more from a portable headphone today.
I bought it during previous sale.
Sound is pretty good, similar to SM4s, at less than half the price.
No audio plugin, ie BT only.
So for plane you need one of these audio to BT converters.
Why do you need a Bluetooth converter for a plane? For plugging in to the IFE system?
You have only usbc on the headset.
USB-C to 3.5mm cable might be better option then? Should be fine for Y class but up the front they often use two prong plugs for the supplied headsets.

Also makes me think the 50% off is inflated. Anyway, I have the Accentum Plus and they sound alright, much less bass than Sony WH1000XM4, which I prefer personally.
I think at the price it's pretty good. Though I did manage to get the Accentum Plus for $166.20 around the Amazon sales.

Pros
ANC does a better job of reducing mid to treble range noise.
Decently comfortable.
Cons
ANC struggles to block out the low rumble of bus engines.
Bulky and can fall off of your head while moving.
