Wow, $150 for the legacy lifters is a great price. I own a pair and they are still going strong, so good for high bar squatting.

Any advantage in using these shoes, compared to barefoot squats/deads?
I wouldn’t do squats flat footed. Lifting shoes will always help with squats. However, don’t do deadlifts in lifters! That one is best done barefoot, especially if you have short legs and long torso. You will put too much strain on your lower back.
I prefer Metcons!
Just went to local Rebel store and they had Nano 9's in black and black/white in stock and price matched Reebok online, if you prefer brick and mortar.
Judging by some of the comments, it appears the soles can die quite quickly on the Nano 9's so I liked the option of easier warranty.
