Discussed in Black Friday Wednesday sale Deal (not a Dupe)
    Resolution: FWVGA (854 x 480)!!

  • +2

That resolution though. On paper it seems terrible, but does that translate to terrible quality irl?

Same as the anker nebula, probably a clone
The nebula has very good reviews.

    • 854 x 480 at 100" yes… I have a 1080p LED Projector (LG PF1500G) currently at about 90" and it's just within the "retina" specs for my seating distance of about 4 metres.
And by that, its Apples perceived ppi range to not be able to make out pixels, you can chuck it into an online calculator like this: https://www.designcompaniesranked.com/resources/is-this-reti…

Also the Lumens are the worry, as the longer the throw distance the less the brightness will be. And listing doesn't say how far it is for that 100" screen size either.

It does if you clicked on the images.

        1m for 37"
        2m for 75"
        3m for 100"

I've used 360p crt projectors projected to a 100 inch screen, they aren't quite as bad as digital projectors as you can blur them a little, but they are fine for casual watching, something for an outside movie night in the dark, ace. something for regular indoor usage.. not so good.

your mainly getting something like this for the portability, NOT, the quality. fine for a bit of fun. specially for bright kids movies, not so much action or dark movies.

  • Only 60 lumen… wont be able to use it in ambient light at all

  • +1

60 Lumen, guessing the room would need to be pitch black?

    • I think the little LED light I keep on my keychain has more lumens than this :/

      • My little headlamp (Nitecore NU32) has almost 10 times more lumens and 3400 mAh battery.

  • 60….. wowee..

  • Much better cheapies on Aliexpress

  • Bluetooth air mouse remote

    included ?

    Buy > Try > keep/return

  • +3

300 for this?? … wait for it to go in the bargain bin if u really wanted it.

    • Maybe all the returns =)

    3 months later …… $50

  • given the specs it would be good only at night and only for watching youtube videos or perhaps netflix if you don't mind using the lower resolution… and certainly not at 100", more like 40" perhaps.

  • 70 lumens?

I’ve enough trouble with my MPCL-1.

Spend a little more to get a lot more, folks.

  • Can you guys suggest some good quality portable projectors, if you know of any with Wi-Fi, BlleTooth, USB & HDMI, not very expensive.
    TIA

  • Is this come with 90 days money back guarantee?

  • As others have said, this is more for fun than picture quality.
To make the most this really needs to have Android, and I didn't see any mention of that, but possibly could. Need to try.
So many which so many similar units on AliExpress at this price point and\or below are Android.
Always need a decent screen with budget projectors.

  • Unboxed yesterday and had quick play. Remote control connection flakey. Have to go in and manually pair. After reboot won’t connect again.grrr. Maybe something I’m missing. Won’t work with latest iOS. Tried older iOS and works. It is android based.

    • So I shouldn't buy?
