Some quiet price drops from Starbuy.
Cheapest ever for the Great White Samurai I believe, would have jumped on it already if I wasn’t holding out for the Great White Turtle (hint hint, Starbuy).
Aside from the dial (I could write paragraphs on that along), the Great Whites also have engraved markers on circular-etched bezel (vs smooth printed bezel on regular Sammys and Turtles), as well as a shark fin inspired second hand.

Two of the new Seiko 5 sport bracelet models are also cheapest around at $339 (credit to henrydt) edit: $329 now

Picked up the black-dialed one from Angus & Coots for $349 a few weeks ago and have to admit I’m enjoying it much more than I thought I would. The watch wears very well due to the slightly smaller case and looks good imo.
These new 5 Sports received a lot of flaks from watch enthusiasts due to a few design choices but personally they’re perfect for your typical desk divers like myself.

    Thanks for the post zonra! I messaged Deepak for a deal on the SARB033, but has anyone spotted this piece in the wild for a discount?

    I don't expect the 2017 pricing but something sub $400 would be nice.

      The Sarb033 and 035 have long been discontinued so chances of discounted new stocks would be pretty slim imo. I had a look at them recently and Amazon Au seems to have them for $550 to $600+ at times.

      The current equivalent models would be SRPD97J and SRPD99J (aka SARY147 and 149) which are, unfortunately, still not cheap at $659, but these are brand new releases and are bound to (hopefully) come up in sales eventually.

      Both of these enjoy smaller 38.3mm case diameters, textured hour indices (a first I believe), and the SRPD97J also has textured dial.

    Cheers for credit zonra. I 2nd the "hint hint" for turtle! Looks much nicer on the wrist for mine - over the samurai. Samurai is still pretty sweet though.
