    Must.. resist…

  • +2

That's a pretty good deal. Have a feeling Amazon might beat it though. I'll have to look and see which places price match target or amazon maybe.

    • +10

It's pretty much their modus operandi… match whatever sale a local store is doing

      • +23

Yep, with the exception of the extra $5 off new release games for Prime members.

        Support the retail stores IMO

        • unfortunately it's inevitable.

  • +1

You got any Nintendo Switch Game deals in that catalogue?

    • +1

I doubt it…Target barely has any Switch Game listed on their site/in-store…

      • Oh hey Richard, well that's no good. Was hoping maybe to get a good price on a few.

  • I wonder if Amazon AU will price-match Target's Price and offer Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as a bonus (matching Big W). 😛

    • Damn, that'd be a force to be reckoned with. That'd make the switch like $300 if you put Mario Kart 8 at big w regular price.

    • Which BigW deal is that?

    • It's probably the first model of the Switch with MK8D, not the newer slightly better (red box) one

      • +2

Based on the picture of the catalogue provided by TRENT86, it also appears to be a 'Red Box' 2019 Switch.

The US Black Friday Switch Box also differs from the AU one.

        • Ooh cool! I've been seeing all the American youtubers saying to stay away from the bundle because of this and assumed we'd be in the same boat. Definitely a good deal, thanks for the correction

      • Guess that would depend on what you want it for, i personally think the older model is better value due to being able to jailbreak it.

  • +11

    Spider-Man will be $19 @ Big W starting 29/11.

    • This is what I'm waiting for.

  • So is that the new Nintendo switch revision?
Red packaging means its the new one right?

    • +1

      Correct.

      • +2

I plan on buying on Amazon when they price match, no way to inspect

Would be less confusion if Nintendo told everyone instead of doing a stealth drop

      • +11

No offence to YOU personally but I wish people would have more patience.

        Freedom = asking questions.

        • +10

Fair enough, on reflection it was a poorly worded post.

May all your Black Friday bargain dreams be granted.

          • +4

@BugsBunnyAUS: Plus vote to you mate. Its rare these days to acknowledge an inkling of a mistake made. No responsibility for ones actions it seems… but you've given humanity a few points on my ranking this evening. Have a good one.

  • Switch price hasn't really moved since release ey?

    • Nintendo prices never do.

    • +3

      That's a $100 difference since release…

      • Maybe day 1 release. Was a matter of months before we saw similar to this price.

    • This is the new improved model, with much better battery life

So you're getting a better system for the same $

      • That's a fair point. But yea was $380 in march 2017.

  • Any chance of the rest of the gaming-related items/pages been photographed as well?

    • +2

      All added to OP pic.

not a helpful comment without a link

      • -8

it has been cheaper in the past °°°

        • Can you please link to the time machine deal? I'm having trouble finding it.

          • -5

@UFO: you just need to wait; patience is virtue my friend.

    • +1

Do you think you could be a little more helpful

      • -6

be patient; patience is virtue ×××

        • +2

This has nothing to do with my patience. You posted a useless comment and have wasted my time (and the time of others no doubt).

          • -4

@harvestloon: there be a better deal hence the patience factor; that's all am saying.

            • +1

@tempura: I could wait 8 years and pick one up from vinnies for a fifty and change but that doesn't change this being a good deal today.

  • +3

Hit me with the Switch lite deal baby.

  • Yep. I'd be satisfied with another Gamesmen $229 deal tbh.

  • +1

Target cancelled orders on the last switch Deal due to lack of stock which was a load of S###. Good luck getting one.

  • can i use the $15 voucher?

    • Excludes gift cards and interactive gaming.

Not sure if it falls under the latter.

    • Can't use the $15 Voucher, as Gaming Products (Console and Games) falls under the excluded 'interactive gaming'.

      • What sort of gaming isn’t interactive?

  • -4

Haven't been following switch but it has my attention now so what is the best deal that the switch has had so far in its medium length run either console only or in a bundle I probably won't buy it until it becomes sub $150 realistically as I am not a Nintendo owner historically but the ability to play with family and friends locally is very alluring.

Ignore the fact that I said will buy it below $150 what is the best bundle or price the switch has had.

    • why the need to explain the sub $150 story whilst at the end, you contradicted yourself by saying am okay to buy above $150 °°° ¿ 🤦🏻‍♂️

      • -1

I'm high? LOL I dunno no one thinks clearly at 5 in the morning

  • -2

FYI, a bloke selling Switch for $550 🤷🏻‍♂️ on Facebook Marketplace. second hand 😱

    • +2

I believe the older model has value for some as you can run homebrew on it if it hasn't been patched.

      • +1

Yeah that's right. I sold just the console, no controller or dock, for $320 on eBay a few weeks back.

        • That's a good price. I just strolled past Cash Convertors and they've the full kit for that price (though I didn't check the serial so who knows)

  • If I have no plans to play it portably, are there any other benefits the 2019 version has over the earlier revision?

    • +1

No. It's a smaller processor, but it's only the battery life that has change because if it.

  • Has ebgames released there prices on nintendo switch black friday price yet

    • I asked the staff at my local store and he said they won't announce anything until Friday. Also they don't price match on any gaming machines.

  • They going to have enough stock this time?

  • Sorry for the noob question.. but how do I price match this deal with Amazon?

    • +4

Amazon will most likely match the price before or on black friday. There is nothing to be done from your side apart from keeping an eye.

  • Any good deals on controllers for the switch?

  • -1

Not a single switch game on sale?!

And people are saying there isn't a cartel?!

  • Switch's are selling out as almost a stock clearance.. What's the chances of a new switch (non-lite) ?

  • The switch isn't showing the BF price. It's still $449 when I click through. Anyone else get this issue?

    • I had the same issue too, but the Black Friday prices appeared when I viewed my cart

    • It's showing up now! :)

  • Any deals on joycons?

    • +1

I’m sure a deal will drift by at some stage.

  • Target one does come with mk8

    • Can you confirm this?

  • What a joke. No stock again

  • Wtf no stock in all Melbourne…

    Would this one get mk8???

That info is gone now from the description.

  • no stock everywhere closed to me according to the website. will try to go to the highpoint store and ask for raincheck. not sure if they can.

  • Re: Melbourne shoppers. There was limited stock at Point Cook when I looked this morning. Decided to have a shower and then buy after as I had my breakfast. Gone!
Luckily my sister is coming to visit me on Sunday, so I ordered it for click and collect at Target Albury… I used mum's Coles Team Member discount card and snagged it for $350.55 which I'm cheering about. What a joke that there is no stock in Melbourne at all… Also there was no evidence of MK8 being bundled in with the one I purchased…

  • +2

Got here when they opened and they only had 2 in stock at Roselands. What a joke

    • Yeah, a few people in the know said there isn't much stock if at all. Its a sort of Aldi thing where they have like 50 nationwide.

      • Aldi has been improving in recent times. Hiding more in the back so people are pleasantly surprised there is more stock.

  • Almost 0 stock across the board as soon as this went live…no wonder Target is going under.

    • Not really, when I placed my order approx 20 mins after it went alive, most stores near my house still have stock. When I decided to order another after 2 hrs most of them are gone. Now it is not even orderable online anymore. They have a really pathetically small amt of stock on hand.
On the bright side, they are super easy on refunding gift card payment via EFT. So I am equally (maybe more) happy even if my orders are cancelled.

      • Will they really refund gift card purchase to EFT? I picked one up but managed to get the Amazon deal instead.

        • Yes. Actually I think their system cant refund gift cards for some stupid technical reasons.

      • Yeah placed mine order 25min pay midnight with gift card then next day at 3pm got a email that mine was cancelled due to no stock. I'm thinking they are prioritising cash and credit purchases over gift cards.

But only saw the email today and now all the good deals are gone!
