    $48 here delivered…fathers day sale this year from myer on ebay. phillips make good cheap trimmers…at least a couple years of frequent use from past experience

    Load of crap. I have a cheap Remington unit that has a NiMH battery and it has be going strong for over 5 years with use at minimum 2-3 time's a week and it does a full upper body trim every few months.
    It's also worth noting its a cheap $40 unit.

    Lithium is more desirable but at the end of the day it's not priced at $100 plus

      Even my tooth brush has lipo and it was 80$.
      My current Remington trimmer is lipo and it was 40$ on sale. And that's going back probably 3 years. I won't bother with performance that goes down as you use it.
